I have had an account with Betway for some years & only recently tried to withdraw some of my winnings. So far I have sent 7 copies of the Id requested but as my passport & driving licence have been issued by the Isle of Man this seems to have confused them and I am getting frustrated & nowhere except been subjected to ping-ponging emails. It seems easier for the UK to leave the Common Market than it is too get your winnings out of Betway.

Beware! Confiscated nearly £200 of my winnings claiming it had been won purely with bonuses. I argued against this nonsense and sent them detailed written proof. Eventually they refunded the money WITHOUT apology then restricted my account. Live chat are just uncaring robots copying and pasting pre written answers. If the company fold one day, there will be a HUGE party!

Please please please avoid this casino at all costs! I made a deposit , won , went to withdraw and had my account closed and money taken . No one would give me any answers . They are such a scam website , please please please do not give this company any money. They should be ashamed with how they deal with their customers . They will take your money no problem but when it comes to paying you won’t be getting it . The worst casino I have ever used and experienced and have report them .

Single handedly the worst experience with a bookie I have ever had. I had a big win when I bet in the golf and my golfer won, winning around £1000. As you can imagine I was delighted and wanted to withdraw this money. After requesting a withdrawal, weeks went by without the money arriving to my account. I contacted Betway to chase this up, and they advised they were waiting for ID documents from me before paying out. They hadn't even contacted me to request these documents and I had been able to withdraw prior to this without providing documents. Had I not have chased this up, they would probably still be holding on to the money now. I provided the ID documents requested, and weeks went by without the payment being made. I chased up a number of times, and each time they would say "it will be with you in the next couple of days" and I would wait a few days before chasing them up again and then get the same response. After about 6 weeks I finally got my money, and they then immediately banned me from participating in any promotions like their free bet club, and stake restricted me meaning I could only bet up to £1 at a time. Definitely a bunch of sore losers who were butthurt after having to pay me out. Had I not have kept chasing them up I genuinely believe they would have tried to keep the money. Do not believe the 5 star reviews on here - they recently came under fire for bribing their customers to leave reviews. They will respond to this message trying to defend it, but Google it and see for yourself. Also read all the one star reviews on this site - people do not go through the effort I've gone through to type all of this for no reason. I've used a number of different bookies and if you are set on betting, then please use William Hill or Sky Bet which I've found to be the best. Whatever you do, avoid these guys like the plague.

Shameful company. Offer people free bets to give them a five star review. The second you do do they stake restrict you to ensure you never win anything ever again! (Stake restricted to 91p!) they’re rating is artificially high as they’re bribing people for ratings!

0 stars! One star gives them too much credit. My bet was winning and no game was suspended. They made cashout unavailable with about 5mins remaining plus e.t because the bet was going to come in and they hoped it would lose. I contacted live chat to report i want to cash and its not working. Linsey on live chat was useless. They can make it unavailable at the traders discretion which is bs as they can do that on every bet they are losing! I also asked who they are regulated by as i want to make a complaint and she ignored. I also asked for the chat to be emailed and she refused. Joke company, reported to gambling commission. Also do not go through their complaints procedure , you will have to wait 6 months for a response!!!

I have joined Betway about 2weeks ago. And payout percentage is a joke. Also everytime I deposit green free bet light came on stating if you put another 2 deposit X amount you will get the free bet. So I did. And suddenly that green popping light dissapeared and I have no free bets. Will close my account after reading all reviews here and my own experience ....

I would not recommend this site to my worst enemy. The returns on the games are consistently around 60% rtp meaning the customer has almost no chance of getting any decent gameplay for their money and zero chance of actually winning then if by some miracle you get a win the withdrawal process is one of the slowest online they make your withdrawal available to reverse for up to 48 hours so sometimes you can wait well over a week to get your money. All in all a complete and utter disgrace of a site which SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS

I'm surprised how betway is still getting good reviews I tried to get a payout 2 years ago and never received a penny. When searching for betting sites in canada they always turn up in the top spot most of the time are all these search sites biased or paid off to give them good reviews?

Been with betway for a couple years now and have never experienced a problem. Made a 3 way prop parlay and it won, although betway has one of the props coming up as a loss. I have been trying to get in contact with them to get this changed in their system (I'm sure i am not the only one losing money on this malfunction), but it is hard to get in touch. For those who are curious I bet Devin Booker Over total points assists and rebounds of 35.5 against the sixers (he totaled 47).

I have been with betway a number of years and would be definitely down money but hey, thats the risk we take. I won a decent amount at the weekend and all of a sudden I have to verify my account again to withdraw. All the documentation I send with proof of address including tax reciepts, my drivers licence, tv bills and even a solicitors letters wont suffice even though its the same address as when I originally verified my account years ago. Very difficult to get an email response wait time 24hrs approx, no phone number and the worst part is if you start using a new site you account somewhat for something like this happening. The fact that I have been depositing and withdrawing for years is the worst part. So in all good site until you win a decent sum lf money.

I deposited money into my account using my husbands card on the 28th of september 2019 i did not realise i wasn't allowed to do that under betway rules the amount was £560.00 betway contacted me by email to say that it was agains't there rules and any betting would be void and that the deposits would be refunded.. i bet £560.00 and withdrew £560.00 .. so you would think that ok she didn't know she wasn't allowed to do that,lets just void any betting she done and pay deposits back to her husbands account .. no it wasn't that easy after 10 live chats on there said the money has been conferscated when i told them it was illegal you cant keep peoples money they said it was paid on the 28th then the 30th then they said 3/5 business days then 7/10 businesss days.. then they said £560.00 must be in a holding account with your bank ... i mean come on a holding bank iv'e never heard so much bulls@it in all my life.. iv'e also phoned them 3 times and evertime i haven't got anywhere it's the same story it's been sent .. if i lost the money iwouldn't expect a penny back but i didn't and thats where i think the problem is they expected me to lose.. and we wouldn't be having this conversation now.. you think that my husband is going to show a fraudulant company like yours his bank account details you must be mad..your only replying nowto peoples reviews to makevyourself look better...WHICH WILL NEVER HAPPEN YOU THINK I WANT TO TALK TO PEOPLE LIKE YOU AFTER ALL YOU PUT ME AND MY HUSBAND THROUGH YOUR JUST THIEVES SERIOUS ... Terrible customer service. Long term user of betway for the past 3 / 4 years that seems to be getting worse not better. Made a withdrawal receive a message saying funds will be clear by 5 pm i give it two days and i email to chase it up. First person said 1 - 2 working days, even though it had already gone past 1 - 2 days second person 1 - 3 working days even though we are now 5 working days later. Last person says up to 5 working days and still no sign of money, cant speak to a manager, cant prove the funds have left there account. So i am stuck in limbo with no answer and no funds. Will be closing the account as soon as the matter is resolved!! After providing bank statements for proof its intrusive and frustrating. The withdrawls and customer service is a joke On a side note to all this.... The woman on other end of the phone on my 3rd call.... just sighed down the phone, sounds like there not bothered or just don't care about the customer. Even there own website says if paid by Monday funds will be clear by Wednesday its now Friday!!

Doubtful and very poor customer treatment I made up a new account there. Seems a very poor decision. My account was accepted. I paid in 150 € by Mastercard and received another 150 € as a newcomer bonus. So far everything ok. I started to wager and gained some money. My account was up to approxiamely 370€ to 380 €. But suddenly I was no longer able to login into my account. Of course I was thinking first that I have maybe forgotten my password and tried to follow the set up procedures for a new password. During this procedure I was informed that my account was suspended. Uups. Of course I contacted the German customer service. They gave me no clue about any reason for such a rude customer treatment, but they stated that their management decision about the closing of my account is fixed and irrefutable. My money would have been confiscated. Uups. I asked the customer representative of course about the reasons but obviously the people in the front office themselves had no clue about the background of this "management decision". At the moment I am spending a lot of time and effort to solve the issue in an somehow more or less friendly manner. But It seems nobody is willing to take advantage about my shown willingness to cooperate. They are just stating and stating again that the decision of their management is fixed and irrefutable. Very stange. On one side they are spending big amounts on marketing efforts and on the other side they are treating their customers like criminals.

A TOTAL JOKE If a horse race has gone past post time they remove it even when the race is running late. I looked at horse race in USA and it had not gone off as race was 15 minutes late but they removed it. Absolute incompetent clowns. How hard is it to watch a feed and wait till they are off?? So I'm updating the public about my Case as stated in my previous review. I submitted the additional document BETWAY requested for but my account still says it's been provisionally suspended. What I really don't understand is that BETWAY never suspended my account after I lost the first $9000 of my deposits. But they could suspend my account after winning up to $38,000. So I am waiting to see what other surprise they're going to spill on me next BUT thanks to Trustpilot the world will get to see this! I hope BETWAY will respond to this and get my account running. It really is telling that Betway one of the smaller online bookmakers has 10,000 reviews on Trustpilot whilst other more popular bookies only have a few hundred... do I expect some sort of suspicious activity here? Betway restricted my account to no promotions a few months ago on the basis that I had profited from them (according to their trading team)... to the tune of £25.71. I'm not fussed, the promos they run are abysmal anyway; they are currently offering a free £5 bet if you bet £5 on Czech Republic vs England with minimum odds of... waiting for it... 5/1. These are sad and desperate times for Betway who must be financially strapped having their senior traders regularly restrict accounts in some manner... they need to just shut this amateur operation down ASAP as quite frankly I'm beginning to feel sorry for them.

I only bet in fivers because i am now 70 and drawing a pension. I used to but in the shops but i just cannot get around like i used to. I opened an account with betway because of their high stars. I usually had about 3 bets a day at a fiver. Some days nothing when i was down at the hispital. After around 6 months i had 80 quid in my balance. The wife needed a new hoover so ia i want to withdraw my money. What a polava. They wanted personal details from me before they would send my money. I told them i was just an old man betting in fivers and only wanting my 80 quid. They would not budge. How embarrasing for them. All this cafuffle just me me. My wife is now 77 and she is very worrried about me sending personal stuff in. I wish i had stayed in the shops now. I am only betting peanuts so i reslly dont know how the rest of their customers go on. I am beginnung to think there 5 star reviews are fake. A very poor experience.

Betway have 10 thousand. That isnt suspicious is it. What a total crock this company are. I see below they're trying to get bad reviews removed. So paid for great reviews are fine but truthful bad reviews get reported. You have to be the worst bookmakers I ever wagered with. I think it's superb that since they were exposed for paying for reviews they can't spam it with 5* excellent reviews and hide bad ones so what you're saying are the real views of people I have to laugh when I see their PR man on horse racing telling everyone how they're seen money for this horse and that horse when in reality they don't lay a bet I haven't used my account for months as my maximum bet was less than a pound!

Limiting account is one thing it's done by all betting websites. But closing account with money will haunt your company I see reviews here daily no big sites like bet365 or others do it people will fear Reading on internet before opening account. And when i try to prove my innocence I just get one line reply of rule 7 and when i say i haven't violated it i am being told my documents are in dispute. How can you say my documents are in dispute and even if they were in past for any reason why can't you come to agreement when i am sending my documents in every mail i am communicating with. My second screenshot is the mention of id and adress proofs on your website that is accepted for Indian customers please see it. Out of them I had sent adhaar card, Passport and driving lisence. Apart from them i even sent utility bill and bank statement. I have worked in a call centre and know that out of all these documents driving lisense and Passport can be checked online so please explain me what made you dispute it. Please provide a proof when you say its in dispute then tell me why is it in dispute. Please tell me where you checked it that you are doubiting its authencity. I had even have a account on a international fundraiser website and they told me they will only accept passport because that is only India id they can check online. Please explain it to me if you say my documents are in dispute why do i need to send you so many id and adress proofs only to be notified you wont accept it. Why when you reject my driving lisense and passport don't give me proof that where you checked it that it said invalid. How is it invalid just give a screenshot of where you checked then I will never bother you even again. All i ask is for a screenshot of my documents showing you invalid please show me on which site you are checking it. I am ready even for home verification. You can send your staff to my home i will verify myself. If not i can come to your place please tell me your office adress in India. If you still decide not to give me my account back even after proving so much of my innocense please its a kind request i dont want to do anything with your website. I have never laughed so much in my life when I saw the excellent rating on here. I see after they were exposed they have put a halt to paying reviews. I guess they'll be back when the furore has died down Show you have a clue and they limit you straight away and then looking at the replies on here just say things like " industry standard" or "senior management decisions not made lightly" or quote terms and conditions Its a shame they never go industry standard prices. Look at soccer or golf odds on comparison website and you'll see they are dreadful Oh and they DO make it difficult to get in touch. You have to click numerous pages to get info and contact them and live chat is no use. Every other firm has live chat easy to reach not hidden away Can only recommend you give them a wide berth. Got text messages constantly offering me promos so then I started doing the promos. Bet 25 get 25 free bet. Bet 50 get 100 free bet Then I got an email saying I was no longer eligible for the promos!!! Why send them me and then stop when I used them??? Nothing I sent was good enough. Absolute nightmare which was ridiculous. Takes them a few days to reply to emails. Never in a hurry Had account open 4 weeks. I lost for 3 weeks then got lucky week 4 . Then got the email telling me my account had been restricted. What a spineless organisation they are. The traders need to grow some cajones The silly thing was I would have lost it back no doubt but they got so scared I won for 5 days they stopped me betting with them The idea they are really rated excellent is completely laughable. Not a pleasant company to deal with Make it as difficult as they can for you to contact them. Takes ages to find live chat or a phone number on the site. That's not a coincidence Don't take a proper bet. Odds really uncompetitive Don't process withdraws Friday obviously hoping you'll reverse and lose your money over the weekend. Now i am being told my documents are in dispute. i mean like seriously how can you even give such reply when you have everything mentioned on your own website. Yes i send docuemnts as mentions on your website. The very first document i send was driving lisense which can be checked online in fact Betway asks for it when registering for fast verification I am attaching the screenshot of Betway signup page please see it. My second screenshot is the mention of id and adress proofs on your website that is accepted for Indian customers please see it. Out of them I had sent adhaar card, Passport and driving lisence. Apart from them i even sent utility bill and bank statement. I have worked in a call centre and know that out of all these documents driving lisense and Passport can be checked online so please explain me what made you dispute it. Please provide a proof when you say its in dispute then tell me why is it in dispute. Please tell me where you checked it that you are doubiting its authencity. I had even have a account on a international fundraiser website and they told me they will only accept passport because that is only India id they can check online. Please explain it to me if you say my documents are in dispute why do i need to send you so many id and adress proofs only to be notified you wont accept it. Why when you reject my driving lisense and passport don't give me proof that where you checked it that it said invalid. How is it invalid just give a screenshot of where you checked then I will never bother you even again. All i ask is for a screenshot of my documents showing you invalid please show me on which site you are checking it. I am ready even for home verification. You can send your staff to my home i will verify mysself even i can come to your place please tell me your office adress in India. If you still decide not to give me my account back even after proving so much of my innocense please its a kind request i dont want to do anything with your website. Just send me my deposited money which was 30k have your money i have no greed for your money. But please give me back my deposited money if you can't reopen my account despite proving every proof of my innocence. And please don't give me automated reply please just send me the proof why is my documents in dispute. And if they were for any reason in past they why don't you sort it out by asking them how can they deny documents they ask for upon registration, those that can be checked online including passport and dl which are international ids infact Indian driving lisense in valid driving lisense in most United nations country. I have even used my indian driving lisense to drive in Kenya. How can you please give a valid reply not automated one. And yes i am reattching my documents for you to see. Please note i realize its mentioned on response its last decision but please understand i have tried to explain everything about my account and this dispute's reply does not answer any of my explanation but only raises new confusion because as mentioned in reply my documents are in dispute but i ask why and how come when i have send everything as mentioned on your website. This is Scam Company if you think you can get your winning amount it's totally wrong thinking. When I going to withdrawal my money its near about 7k they asking me my id and address proof I send them my I'd and Address proof also. After 2 days they again ask me my address proof. I send them again.. Next day I chat with live person he told me your documents are fully verified you can get your money as soon as possible.. I feel relaxed.. Next day I got a email from verification department that my account is permanently blocked and they are not going to release the money.. Now you think guys they can easily take deposit without any objection. But when you go to withdrawal the same money they required lots of documents from you to prove it you are the same depositor.. Its mean they want you won't able to take you money any how from them.

Little point using Betway All the other firms have early prices on US Racing 6 hours ahead Betway wait 30 seconds before the race like they are petrified at being caught out. All I read are its down to the traders decision blah blah blah They don't take any decent bets anyway. A total embarrassing so called bookie There are dozens of bookies out there who don't wait till 30 secs before post time. I'll be betting with those now There's absolutely no reason to have a Betway accoount the odds aren't competitive , the limits are dreadful

Give this site a bad review as i was was drunk and upset about a bonus not being awarded. Turned out to be my fault, through cashing out with 2 minutes left and the team 2-0 up lol (impatient wee s#it) Wasn't allowed to cash out even if game was basically over. Anyways ... they offer a nice selection of bonuses and have a nice site to go with it. Fair wagering. I won't be using them anymore as i like to use cash only. I had too many accounts and now i've kept only two. This site was a tied third but had to go over others. I will be back here playing again if i want a change.

Be careful everyone , they are very bad in terms of verifying you. When it comes to this politics they are very strange. I sent bank statement and it was under 3 months and they rejected it with driving license. Then I sent driving license and passport and keep asking me to get verified,they do not care guys. Be careful They will make you wait for your money and most likely will try and go against this.

This is the worst illegal operative company I have ever crossed paths with. In full admittance they said I was self excluded across their whole network! Yet allowed another account to He opened with the exact same details! Money laundering, illegal, horrible, patronising people! Taking my complaint through Ibas as have all the evidence needed!
