I opened an account with Black Type and deposited to try them out , I had a £20 bet Filbert Street at Southwell on the 29th October and put on two further doubles and a football bet. Filbert sat won and £170 was showing in my account.I logged out and when I tried to log in later I couldn't.I checked my email and there was one from Black Type saying I had closed and excluded an account from one of their partners.I have no idea who this is so why did they allow me to open an account , complete wagers and pay winnings.They have now told me ALL bets are voided including the winning ones and they will refund my initial deposit

When they started they claimed they would lay any horse to lose £500. This is just not true. They restrict your account to minimal bets as soon asd you have won a few pounds.
Like every bookmaker they are delighted to take your money but very reluctant to pay out theirs.
It is very sad

Had a blacktype account for around a year and have to say i like the sportsbook a lot app is very slick decent odds customer service quick responsive although i think they could add live chat. Trustly bank transfer payments added so quicker than debit card good bonus!

I love the website, it has a dark theme layout that makes navigation very easy. The website offers in-play betting a lot of markets in football and a three-way handicap as well as a couple fast market bets. They also offer pretty great odds. On your first sign up you get £10 when you bet £10 and there’s a weekend free bet offer.

Terrible bookmaker. Supposedly they don't restrict but I'm always restricted to pennies. I recently wanted to take them up on a casino offer they were running. I completed the wagering but didn't receive my freespins. Thought it may just be an error so sent them an email (they have no live chat facility) they replied several days later stating I was excluded from promotions. They said I was sent an emailing regarding this about a year ago. I trawled through my inbox and spam filter to the time and day they said it was sent to me (after I had to ask them for this information and then wait several more days for a response). There was no email, they never sent me anything and then began citing rubbish to me from their default 'out the box' auto responses such as 'we have performed out legal obligation blah blah' TERRIBLE.

Also this was all 100% bs since I had received promotional offers from them for months after this supposed email was sent.

Just put a rare bet on with as they were best price and immediately got an e mail from them stating I would no longer be offered best price guaranteed and no free bets or promotions. This company must want to go bust. The bet was only £200 at 6/4. Don’t bother using them as they don’t want to take a bet once you had a few with them.

A fair bookmaker with reasonable odds, occasional offers and a functional website.BOG and streaming of UK/Irish races a plus. Sadly I always seem to find the wrong horse but that's the joy of gambling.

They come up fairly regularly as top price on Oddschecker. Sometimes football, sometimes horse racing so well worth an account if you’re punting on those two. No issues with the app, would like to be able to place bets through Oddschecker but a minor inconvenience.

They're a pretty damn good bookmaker. Odds are reasonable, though nothing to shout off the rooftops about, and there's usually a decent array of offers available (extra places on the races or golf; enhanced odds on football etc).

Their deposit and withdrawal processes are also very easy to understand. Overall it's a good service as a bookmaker.

Good website offering a range of sports betting opportunities. Odds compare favourably with other sites for horse racing bets, but do not tend to use for other sports possibly as odds are not as good. Have not been using site for long but have not had bets or promotions restricted so far, which has happened on the "bigger " sites. Bets are easy to place, so cannot fault the site.

Unlike most, if not all, other bookmakers Black Type seem to lay your whole bet rather than accepting a fraction of your bet and reoffering the remainder of the bet at a lower price.

Generally odds compare favourably against those offered by other bookmakers and are sometimes the best odds available.

Website is also easy to use and I've had no problems with deposits or withdrawals.

I bet mainly on horse racing. Odds are competitive with BOG from 10am.I have suffered no account restrictions, and been awarded as an existing customer a number of free bet offers. The website navigation is easy,a Firm with old fashioned bookmaking values, give them a try.
