Predatory practices. They let you sign up and bet, but then won’t offer the sign up bonus, won’t say exactly why. Will make an official complaint to the Gambling Commission. If you intend to block someone from having the welcome bonus at least tell them before they deposit or gamble money, some sites do that and it’s fair that way. Won’t recommend or use again. The website itself it’s terrible, horrible to navigate, can’t palce a bet unless you try multiple times etc. Honestly feels like a betting site from 20 years ago, it is really that bad.Will never use again.

Opened an account promising a free £50 bet for a £25 first bet. Trouble from the start. My first £25 deposit came up as “declined” as did the second – then I noticed my balance was £50 (first scam/bug take a payment twice).I struggled to place my bet as the website was so buggy. Eventually placed a horse racing bet but this company is the only I have known that doesn’t let you watch the live race – really poor.I could sometimes see my free bet on the bet slip but could never actually use it, it kept disappearing.So I decided to withdraw the second £25 which in my opinion was scammed (or could just be a bug).Then I find a 3% withdraw fee that was never mentioned when I made the deposit.I contacted “customer support” – and sent screenshots of the problems. They claim they cannot find my account and that I should email from the registered email (which I was and I sent a screenshot of my account showing that email address).Her final email Unfortunately, I am unable to locate an account with the email xx xx@​Please contact us if you have any further inquiries. We are available 24/7!I lost my £25 bet but I hoped for some good luck on the football – but I didn’t get the bonus.I’m closing the account – avoid at all costs!UPDATE: I cannot find the facility to close the account! Please read this review, this company is the biggest scam going I deposited and bet £25 to get the £50 bonus which I placed a bet on football which if won would pay £200.Bet was active until it won where for no apparent reason the bet was cancelled and when I contacted them was given not sufficient reason why it was cancelledThey have since refused to pay out.Urge any genuine punter to avoid this company.Also charge 1% withdrawal fee loooooool

Awful experience. I signed up to Britain Bet based on an excellent sign up offer to bet £25 and get a free £50 bonus bet. Not only was I charged to deposit and withdraw money, but I did not receive my bonus because it was cancelled as soon as a withdrawal was made! When I asked customer services to provide a reason for this, they simply stated it was their policy (which is not a reason at all). In addition, to use the bonus bet would have been difficult without making a withdrawal, as they use non-bonus money first so essentially, you’d have to place a bet with your money prior to being able to access the bonus. Absolute nonsense, and not made clear to customers from the off. Don’t waste your time or money, go elsewhere.

Signed up today and just played with my own money(no bonus) and got a good win on a 40p bet. Have sent my documents for identification and requested a withdrawal. So far so good and a nice choice of games. Will update my review when i go through the verification and withdrawal process…… Updated from 3 stars to 5. It took just over an hour for my account to be verified and the money was in my account. Amazing first experience

They don’t reply to emails. Their customer service is very poor and have a real attitude problem I signed up and took their free bet. Lost on my deposit bet then won a few pounds on the free bet. Next day they withdrew my bonuses. Only noticed because the Racing Post were hyping them. They didn’t mention you have to pay for withdrawing your own money though. Imagine having the audacity to charge customers to withdraw.

Signed up to britianbet about 5 months ago..had no problems when I deposited money and lost it…last night I deposited £50 using my mobile…I went to withdraw £80…they ask me for verification which I sent this morning…inheard nothing from them and the didn’t process the withdrawal…they have no contact number so had to speak to someone in the chat…I asked them what excuse are they going to give me as I’ve sent my documents…they say they want a phone bill for the numbers I use to pay and play…I told them my numbers are payg. But they didn’t come up with an alternative action…I sent a picture of my bank card which has my double barrel surname, ny britainbet I onl6 use my first surname..these people are telling me my the name in my card is different…in actual fact even if they processed my withdrawal idd still be losing…the audacity of these people…I’m not going to stop until they either process my withdrawal or I’m going to ruin them…I never received any bonus for whole time I’ve been with them, just spend spend spend obviously britainbet didn’t have a problem with me depositing and losing my money…why didn’t they verify me then..britainbet don’t have a leg to stand on…

They offer a free bet bonus. If you win using the free bet they will take your bonuses off you. If you email them asking why they will just flat out ignore you. Oh and they charge you to withdraw your own money.

I signed up for the bet25 get 50. Lost the 25 and then won a hundred using my 50 freebet. Told me I needed to roll it over so bet it on a 1/100 which wonNext morning they had a hissyfit and emailed me to tell me my account has been disabled from bonuses. Was bit worried when I read these reviews after opening an account and making a deposit.Was even more concerned when read their terms and conditions suggested a withdrawal could take 3 – 7 days when most withdrawals at other bookies hit your source within 24 hours.Anyway I deposited £200 with no bother, won a few sports bets and withdrew £500 same evening.After reading the poor reviews, expected to be made to jump through hoops to get paid, but not all, did not ask for additional ID or bank statements.Got an email 18 hours later (next working day) to say withdrawal approved and money was back on my card within 30 mins of this.They probably do not do themselves any favours quoting worst case withdrawal times when in reality all withdrawals these days hit banks within 30 mins once approved if you have a debit card that supports faster funds.So pleasantly surprised at serivice and glad I tried an alternative bookmaker.Only gripe is they should not be charging 2.50 for a withdrawal in this day and age – no other UK bookie I know of does this. Even customer service were nice.So one star dropped for that charge othewise cannot fault.Note this review is just for sports betting, as do not play games or casino.

Thieving c***s. Don’t fall for any of there promotions. I had 30 free spins won 19£ turned that into 250£ wagering requirement is 1000£ smashed that with 170£ to spare they only gave me 20£.. avoid this company like the plague. Please take a long hard look at yourself before signing up to BritainBet – you’re probably only sniffing around these crooks if you’re after a bonus or you’re a gambling addict and you’ve excluded from the reputable sites. Jesus, I wasn’t able to post 0 stars, the worst, slowest site, no racing available. Avoid….even if you win on one of the numerous table tennis or other garbage sports they pedal they charge you to withdraw(which no other bookie does that in 2023) Deposited £10 then abandoned the site forever what a pile of sh*te. If anyone needs to use this site you have a serious gambling problem. You would be better off throwing your money straight down a grid. I made 2 withdrawals on Saturday one for £1118 and the other for £2380 this is now Tuesday and they still haven’t paid me my money, I’m disabled and to get treated like this from a company is disgusting!!! Registered a new account, everything fine for a few days, then had my account closed for absolutely no reason at all. I got an e-mail accusing me of previously having an account ( I hadn’t, I’d never heard of them ) and making libellous accusations that I’d deliberately misled them on sign up by using a different e-mail address. Blatant lies and the funds I withdrew which are rightfully mine have still not arrived. Very dodgy company, would advise everyone to avoid like the plague.

Disappointing experience. Found an offer to bet £25 and get a £50 free bet but then no free bet was credited. I contacted support who advised that because I had set up an account previously on another site in the ‘Progressplay Network’ I was ineligible for their free bet. They said that it was very clear in the terms (which I sent them) but how is anyone that doesn’t work for them supposed to know what a Progressplay Network is? Their advisors shouldn’t make people feel daft for not knowing this information and maybe try and do something to try and improve their 1.6 trustpilot rating.

Signed up and played for a few days, sent in all my documents on sign up, deposited 120 in total, withdrew 150 with another 80 sitting there then they restrict my account as apparently i have another account on their network? This was only done after I’d won… I dont know whos in their network, maybe they should lost the other casinos and I might have known!!!To add to this they have now emailed to say my account was closed as I used fraudulent details to bypass their security! Another cowboy bookie – avoid!! You have been warned. Signed up using a bonus code expecting a sports bonus. Took me straight to deposit page (hadn’t got to site by this point!) and done the necessaries. After depositing it took me to the casino page and said I had a £50 casino bonus! I don’t want that it never allowed me a choice in the first place. Customer service is obviously shocking for any back alley bookie and this is no different. Refused to swap them. Joined this site as seen an advert for it, what a big mistake! Total scam company. Like all the other reviews say! I deposited £100, played roulette and then won £560. Withdrew and then they say because I covered 2 Columns of a 3 column roulette table I gained an unfair advantage and they can hold your deposit and winning! Apparently In their T & Cs is states that if you cover 24 or more numbers they don’t have to pay you and can keep your deposit too! Basically a scam and a plot to not payout so avoid at all costs!

Won £15,000 on sports bet, instantly removed all my bonuses that I received, suspended the account and will not release the money. Keep asking why my account has been suspended and when I will get my money, but no straight answer, keep saying that a relevant department will be in touch. Reading reviews now it looks like I’m not the only one. Not sure how they are getting away with this. My bet was £8500 to win the £15,000 but neither my £8500 or my winnings £15,000 are with me now. Looks like will have to take them to court.

Wish I’d read these reviews before I’d signed up. I got my £30 free bet by wagering £10. I placed my free bet and won £77.10, but my winnings went to my “bonus balance”. I asked their support why, and they said I could only access this bonus balance when I had ran out of “real” money, and if I tried to withdraw any money they’d cancel the bonus! I opened a new account with the Britain Bet on 30/12/2022 and deposited about £100 with my bank card in total. As I played roulette for a while I was up about £1800 and I withdrew £1619 in total. The next day I got the emal which asked me provide the documents and also verify my account. All done as required and verified. On the 05/01/2023, I got the email from the Britain Bet that my account has been permanently closed which is there final decision and the winning money was void due to illegal activity or advantage gambling. Thats all thank you.

Very weak user interface. Competitive welcome bonus, but having won the qualifying bet, I am supposed to lose all the winnings in order to ‘unlock’ the free bet. I can’t withdraw the money without forfeiting the bonus either. Got charged £3 for withdrawing each time. Very uncompetitive bookmaker

There are some good joining bonuses, but this bookie charges £2.50 for every withdrawal so I can’t see myself using them long term.
