After depositing around £600 of my hard earn money, I wanted to withdraw £789 and for the last 48 hours they have completely ignored me in every way.I’ve provided bank statements, proof of card, Proof of Apple Pay, Everything! I’ve sent countless emails to just be ignored by their customer service every time. I’ve taken this to IBAS and have given COPY BET 48 hours to rectify this and either verify my account or send me my £789! You asked for the documents and I’ve sent them you just choose to absolutely ignore people. You shouldn’t be able to get away with this it’s absolutely shocking!

They dont give you the free bets once you’ve placed your bet. They just make up excuses so you bet more, there a disgusting bunch of scam artists and should have there website shut done from gambling commission

absolutely awful company, deposited £10 and then realised i hadnt deposited by bank transfer (to get the £50 free bets) so did that as well. they didnt give me the free bets as i made two deposits instead of one?!!?!? you cannot cash out bets or no phone/chat in use. please trust me, avoid these at all costs!!!!!!

Do not use this site, awful, absolute con, I signed up with their welcome offer of bet 10 get 50 in free bets, they ask you to verify your details so send bank & id – to which you don’t get verified, then after a week they verify you which by this time the offer has gone -spoke to customer services and they said you need to place a bet in the first week – which you cannot as you’re not verified, absolute con, avoid

Have found the site fine. No issues. Generous bonuses. Won a couple of hundred and withdrawn and paid instantly. Site is a bit clunky to navigate but it’s not a major problem.

CopyBet is a disgusting betting company. That is so absurd and small that cannot verify new customers automatically using the Credit Reference Agencies, like every other decent betting company in the UK! I tried to signup to CopyBet two days ago and CopyBet is demanding I upload personal documents. That is disgusting! COPYBET SHOULD BE USING CREDIT REFERENCE AGENCIES TO VERIFY CUSTOMERS. NOT FORCING NEW CUSTOMERS TO UPLOAD PERSONAL DOCUMENTS THAT CAN BE MISUSED.

I see a lot of reviews calling CopyBet a scam. From what I have experienced, I wouldn’t call it a scam, but there is a ton that needs improving.The app is pretty bad, clunky, and takes a long time to navigate. The website is also confusing as hell, with so many tabs and different wallets.In addition, there have been several instances where I have tried to place a bet with CopyBet, but the bet never goes through due to some technical error. What’s worse is that they would have won!The other negative is that the support, although very quick to respond, is totally clueless. They don’t really seem to know anything and respond with ‘I’ll get back to you’, and then they never do. It’s as if they hope you’ll solve your problem independently and don’t contact them again.There are some good points, however. I did find that the free bets were easy to get and were credited quickly as long as you followed the rules closely. To get the free bets, you need to use some new way of transferring money from your bank, which I was sceptical of at first, but now I see that it’s actually the quickest method of withdrawing I’ve ever seen. The funds are back in your account instantly.Verification was easy as it was all automated.There are some good points, but CopyBet still has a long way to go before it can catch up with the other bookies.That being said, signing up for the Free bets is worth it, but I doubt you’ll want to stick around long-term if you have other options.It’s not a scam, from my experience. Just needs a lot of work.

Absolutely awful company .Get any big wins they will try every trick in the book to try and stop you getting it.From card verification to all sorts of ID even if you’ve done this weeks earlier on your last big win .Made 2 withdrawals funny how the smaller one was in my bank in hours but still waiting for a larger amount that I made first and then they quote 3-5 days

I have been using CopyBet for months and had a reasonable experience. The app would sometimes freeze, but this has been improved over time.Recently, I have decided to withdraw my balance and this is when they have processed “account correction” and took £435.75 from my account! My account is now closed and their support team is not responding.Huge scam and the most unethical betting business out there. DO NOT USE. Gambling Commission should be all over them.

It’s a scam, sign up offer is a scam dont do it. It hides in small print that you have to deposit a certain way to be eligible, even though it lets you use the sign up code through Apple Pay, don’t reccomend.

I put a bet on the general election result being July, which has happened but they still haven’t paid out. I made a complaint and they emailed me saying it would be confirmed on the 31st of May but they still haven’t paid out. Not sure what to do. Other gambling sites have paid out since the election date has been confirmed. They’ve basically just stole my money. CopyBet is the worst site/company I’ve ever used.

I thought I’d managed to jump through all the hoops in order to get their, what seemed like an excellent, opening offer. I even managed to navigate my way around their baffling app and place a bet. But I was refused my free bets, because I was using a VPN, which contravenes their policies. I always use a VPN when accessing the internet in public places – I thought it was quite a common practice. And I didn’t know it was not allowed until I asked them about my free bets. Maybe it’s hidden somewhere in the T’s& C’s. I even offered to turn off the VPN and start again, but got a blank refusal. I feel I have been tricked into making the initial deposit.

Made a deposit to place a bet, then changed my mind about placing bet so didn’t bother. Went to then withdraw funds back into my bank and now I have to verify bank card to get my money back. If they wanted card verified this should have happened before deposit. Now they are refusing to give me my money back. Only a tenner but I won’t be using this account again after their poor responses from costumer service via email

No idea why it has so many bad reviews, I made withdrawals totaling £2,000 from the site without any issues, I did have to send some docs but they were reveiwed fast and I have no clue why so many people crticize this site. For me great experience, great odds. Good product.

I deposited £20 and then my account was closed/restricted for no reason. They then have claimed they’ve sent me my £20 back, then said they haven’t. Then asked for my bank statements which is sensitive information to prove I haven’t received the money. I sent them this and they claim it was original and needed to be a pdf. It was a pdf file downloaded directly from my banking app. Then they’ve claimed it needs to be original and not pdf, no idea what that’s supposed to mean as pdf is the original file type. They keep moving the goalposts all to keep from having the small amount of £20! It’s been over 2 months and around 100 emails and they still have the absolute cheek to write ‘we’re at your disposal of help is needed’. Has to be the worst site and customer service team I have ever had the displeasure of using. I’d avoid completely!!!

Absolutely awful. No problems with initial deposits until you deposit larger amount then your account is frozen and you can’t place a bet or withdrawal YOUR money and half the time says you have no money in your account. Avoid at all cost.

Made a deposit of £50 that landed in my wallet but doesn’t shoe as withdrawable . The company claims I spent the money on sports betting so I asked for proof of deposits and bet history and after all the workings out I’m still owed £50 which I’ve emailed them about numerous times . All they have done is email me once to say let me look into this depiste it being about a week and have now continued to ignore me because they owe me a £50 deposit that’s showed in my wallet

Would give it no stars if possible.Absolutely disgraceful company. Allow you to deposit and then when you try to withdraw they put every hurdle in your way. I still can’t get my money from them. Rude customer service who don’t answer questions with an air of arrogance. They didn’t hold my funds once verification was cleared easily, but they do stake restrict you with the inability to place a bet. Just avoid them. You won’t regret it and they’ve likely got a couple more years in them before they go pop. Check out my last review on mansionbet, I’ve a track record of predicting when the bookies go bust! Get your money out!

WORST betting company going. I’ve got valid ID, credit is OK and never declined be any site. Naturally I was wanting to know why. I asked the question a couple of times and the attitude I got was a joke… ‘once again’ was how the email started. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS…. I was attracted to copybet because of Their free bets upon joining. However after joining i then find out that these free bets are only if you deposit via their system called truelayer and if your bank isnt set up with TrueLayer then you have to use a different means to deposit but get no free bets

I made deposit of £100. History shows that I made deposit but transfer went to unknown location and now I am £100 down. There is no live chat. In 24 hours they replied to my emails once while I send 10 emails with proof and everything. This site is a joke. Beware and do not register there.

Please please stay far away as possible from the site.All the reviews about this company are 100% correct and please do not go anywhere near them.The customer service is non existent and twice they have said they have processed a withdrawal of mine which they havent and have provided evidence to support this but never resolved.This is actually theft and how this company are allowed to operate is beyond me but then again the gambling authorities are as corrupt as the gambling companies!!!

Won some money and it’s just endless asking for card verifications, after all the cards were verified withdrawal is still pending and I get emails stating it is still being investigated, just absolutely unnecessary unless it’s another bookies that makes it hard on customers to receive winning.

Their promotions are very clearly designed to make it very unlikely to actually qualify for any free bets. I fell for a BET 10 GET 50 promotion – /promo/free-betI signed up, placed a bet on the Grand National for £10 (£5e/w) thus qualifying for the offer of £50 in 5 free bets. HOWEVER, it turned out that I didn’t qualify because at the same time, I placed another £5 bet on another horse in the Grand National. Imagine that – someone placing multiple bets on the biggest betting event in the UK. So – CopyBet claimed that had in fact disqualified me from receiving any free bets. It gets worse. Even if I had NOT placed the other bet, I would have still not qualified for the free bets because I hadn’t installed the app. This was not mentioned once in the advert – other than in the Terms & Conditions – of course. The advert had over 250 words before getting to the small print – no mention of having to install the app and only being allowed a single bet on any single event – including the Grand National 🙂 Another 339 words in the small print (I used a website, I’m not that sad) and still no mention of the key disqualifying details. So – it turns out that the only way to find out these crucial details was to download a 45 page Ts&C’s document and read through that in order to find the vital information required. So, from a legal standpoint, CopyBet are covered, but I’ll leave it to you to decide if you think this is a legitimate offer or just a dirty little scam.

Company is just a scam. Free bet but only if you place one bet! So I deposit £25 more than the minimum threshold for free bets but because (very very small print) somewhere says it has to be on one bet, it doesn’t qualify. Con merchants. However, you shoot yourselves in the foot, as I won more than I deposited and would never go near using your company again. Well done and goodbye.

Not sure how they are registered in the UK when they accept GamStop registered users.This is in breach of the Gambling Act 2005.I have contacted them for resolution. If this isn’t actioned promptly I will report them to the Gambling Commission and also advise Gamstop they are using their branding for misuse of trust.

STAY CLEAR OF COPYBET. I made a deposit about 6 months ago. When I tried to make a withdrawal copybet froze my account immediately. I gave them ID, bank statements etc but still haven’t received my money. Copybet won’t reply to any of my requests. IBAS have requested a deadlock number off copybet to resolve the issue but copybet will not give me the number. Its been four months so far. What bookie even does this
