Opened account with them ages ago but verified it (therefore never used it too). Now trying to close my account. After some time speno on the chat with customer support I got it confirmed that my account has been closed. This quickly turned out to be a lie as when I tried to log in, I got the message “account is blocked”. Clearly this is not indication of account being closed. I then had email confirming account closure, but get the same message when I try to log in. To top it up on the following date I got automated email with reminder to verify my account. Surely that is enough evidence to say that my account is definitely not closed. Will be seeking advice from Citizen Advice Bureau as not planning to leave it like that. Horrible company.

I be £10 on a horse online which won at 5/1, so I was expecting about £60 return. Coral’s site crashed and when I reconnected after much trouble, there were no records of my bets on that day (Tuesday 17/12/24) even though I’d been betting all day. Customer services were no help so I closed my account via lifetime self-exclusion. What if it’d been £60000 instead of £60? There are lots of reliable sites out there, so please use them and steer clear of CORAL bookmakers. I recommend Betfred for serious punters.How many others have been affected?

Coral are disgusting they treated me like a criminal. I rang up and ask to withdraw my £100 and they asked me what I needed it for I said to help feed my kids. They then used that against me.they blocked my account for 24 hours made me call 100 different people asked 1000 questions held onto the money. Asked for a bank statement and said it could take up to 36 hours to process. I hope they get scammed by real scammers big time teach them to treat genuine people better. DEVILS

I did a 50 pound win treble bet with my connect card guaranteed odds all three horses won was expecting 1500 pound it was told I had 995 pound to come back because you’re only allowed 25 pound limit for a treble no one told me this when I put the bet on the staff. I cannot stress enough how much of a rip off scam site Coral is, multiple failed bonus attempts and I’m talking a good 20-30 teasers and a good 50 quid before you land any sort of bonus round for a return of 6 quid if your lucky. Sick to death of hearing RNG, what they fail to tell you, it is not the game that determines the RNG but it is the casino themselves. They tell the game whether you win or lose and they have hid this fact for years. My wife and I both had Coral accounts until closing them recently and as we both work in the sector and develop and have developed many of the games you all use, we can both assure you Coral is a con. The games do not play as intended, the bonus rounds do not fall as intended and as a result you are all being ripped off. This afternoon, I went on Coral, deposited £40 with no problem. I played my games and ended up getting up to £149, so I went to withdraw, and my account got flagged, where I needed to upload my passport, birth certificate, and electricity bill. I did all this through the live chat. The live chat agent said,”Can you also please confirm your registered email address? I wish coral could answer why the slots are so bad?! Instead we get Copy and paste which just looks like lawyer advice. Opened an account with them around a week or two ago. I got an email saying my account was verified, great. I’ve managed to deposit serval times and also made a few withdrawals. Then yesterday a won a substantial amount. I withdrew £100 then another £100. Got lucky again and had a total of £710 pending withdrawals. All of a sudden I get told I need to supply my ID and proof of address. Strange as my account was verified and they have had no trouble taking my funds. Not a problem though I supplied this. Then they came back and said i needed to supply it again but also with proof of payment and me hold my ID next to my face. Again not a problem I did just that. Then they came back and said the photo of me holding my ID wasn’t sufficient and now they want a copy of my card front and back as well as everything else. I explained I used Apple Pay for the deposits and I don’t have my physical card to hand. It’s 2024 most people use a way to pay from there phone and my card I can’t remember the last time I even saw it. Plus I was told proof of deposits was sufficient. Obviously this is not the case. Never once had a issue with ladbrokes who is a sister company. Genuinely feels like am going round in circles and every time I’ve uploaded evidence they then want more. Seems like a con to me, will take your money but then won’t pay out. Let’s not forget they only wanted my ID and proof of address and so far they have had my driving license, my passport, my council tax bill, my payslip, my Apple Pay receipts and also me holding my ID and it’s still not enough. I really would avoid, there is other companies out there where you don’t have to jump through hoops just to get your funds.

Since October 23, I have been living a nightmare with this company.This company is a disaster ! I bet the amount of 2k in the Coral shop on a selection of 4 matches. 2 from tennis and 2 from football. Fortunately, I won and Coral has to pay me a sum of 22,000 pounds. Because the amount was much too high, I divided the ticket into 20 tickets in order not to have problems with picking up the prize when I go to the shop, as happened a week before when I won the amount of 10,000 and was refused for 3 continuous days of countless shops on the reason that they don’t have money inside the shop to pay me. In order not to have this unpleasantness again, I printed 20 identical tickets, each with the same selection of matches and the same winnings of 1090 pounds. When I went to use my winnings, the first shop told me that they could only pay me 2 tickets, the second shop the same scenario and when I got to the 3rd shop they paid me only one ticket, and the remaining 15 they blocked me without explaining why. I was asked to call customer service, and they told me that they had to investigate.I was made to wait for 3 days, and after I called again they told me that I have to upload a document on their platform to see who I am. I uploaded the driver’s license and then I was asked to upload the bank statement for the last 3 months and the payslips, which I found inappropriate as I am not an online player. Finally, I uploaded the rest of the requested documents. After I uploaded the rest of the documents, they asked me to show them proof of where I got the 2k I bet with and to send them proof. I also had to send them proof of where I got the amount of 2k. After I sent that proof, now they asked me to send P60 too! Every time I call customer service, they always ask me for something else, even though every time they tell me that it’s the last thing I have to send in order to unlock my tickets. As the situation became extremely frustrating, I turned to Citizen Advices, who informed me that everything they asked me was completely wrong because is against the GDPR and that I should not have sent them those documents, considering that I am not a player with an online account, and my bet was placed with cash inside the shop. However, the company refuses to pay me the rest of the amount and even to this day they have not given me a reason why they blocked my earnings, including after all the documentation sent. Another thing to mention is that before placing the bet, the employee at the counter told me that I have to wait for confirmation from the head office to see if I am eligible to bet that amount of money. After the employee spent about 5 minutes on the phone, I received confirmation that there is no problem and that I can bet the amount of 2k. The customer service staff who lied to me every time and sometimes treated me with disdain also received a minimum rating. Fortunately, absolutely all the conversations with them were recorded and will be essential evidence in the process that will follow. This made me go to seek justice in the court. I have submitted all the official complaints at the moment, and the rest will end up in court where I will request compensation that will change their vision in the future with the clients’ earnings because even to this day I have not received my winnings.For your mental comfort, stay away from this company. It is simply a scam.
