After being down for over a month I finally make a big win and get the "Analysis of a substantial number of wagers has shown a consistent pattern (in excess of 90% of all wagers) as shortening in odds, immediately after placement. This is reasonably clear evidence of line tracking, otherwise known as odds trading, rather than 'selection based' activity." email 10 minutes after my first big win in a while. And guess what, the starting price for that bet was the same as the bet slip price! They seem to assume anyone that has a (~£500) win is trying to cheat time I suppose. Better to go to the competition that does not punish you for being lucky or researching the field before placing bets.

Real cowboys these alotLimit you to SP via email however you can still bet at price taken, so unless your checking your email every time you make a bet, this clown jeffco banks is no good.Worth of advice fix your website, and restrictions. When a punter is restricted the website should reflect by this by stake limits or SP ONLY. Had any of my bets won after this email I would of taken this lot to IBAS and won. Cant make it up as they go along

My horses bets won and Geoff Banks didn't like it.Apparently they notice some pattern that I am not aware of. I only just started using the account 5 days ago as I had a free time. I find these accusations both surprising and unfounded, as I have no knowledge of line tracking or odds trading practices.As a horse racing enthusiast, I follow specific jockeys and horses. It is well known that odds in horse racing can fluctuate significantly, sometimes even during bet placement. This natural variability should not be misinterpreted as suspicious behavior.Additionally, my winning bets were at higher odds, contradicting the claim of consistent shortening odds.I find it unfair and disappointing that Geoff Banks would make such assumptions based on only five days of activity. This approach not only undermines customer trust but also appears to be an excuse to avoid paying out at Best Odds Guaranteed prices.They have made my account 'Board Price' only on Horse Racing and Greyhounds going forward, which are available shortly before a race only. Bonus offers have also been withdrawn at this time to me. This is very disappointing.Given these circumstances, I do not recommend Geoff Banks. Their handling of this situation has been both unfair and unjustified. Avoid them and don’t use their online betting.

So the TLDR is if you are thinking of using Geoff Banks, don't. There are plenty of other bookies out there who have numerous advantages and decent customer care as well as websites that work properly.Lets start with deposits and account updates. These take *forever*. To the point that on many occasions you wont know if your bet has been taken until 30-60 seconds later and your balance often wont update until you hard refresh it. Assuming your bet does get taken... which... on Sunday I placed a winning bet on their site, got bounced back with updated odds, on accepting the new odds, their system didn't even register the bet. A couple of minutes later after watching my horse win, I tab back to see a "connection error" message generated from their site. Something that you will run into quite often when trying to do basic things such as check your statements or open bets. Support were quick to point out their system bounced back the bet, but went quiet after I asked them to escalate it to the tech team as clearly there is something wrong in their internal systems for these connection errors to be generated multiple times a day, one of which now cost me over £400 in winnings. As a developer myself I am well aware errors can happen, but they should never be at the expense of your customers. And to avoid any doubt, my connection was not the cause of the issue as I use multiple bookies and none of the other sites have the same issues as Geoff Banks. The final nail in the coffin that led to this review is my account being limited to board price wagers as apparently my pattern of betting goes against their vague terms and conditions as I might not be a customer they can profit off. Talk about pot and kettle. (Oh and this is despite being several hundreds down overall with them).If you're going to be offering better odds than other bookies, don't be surprised at punters taking a bet on the best odds out there?!If they want to come back and resolve these issues on my account I will update the review accordingly.

Customer service is a disgrace! Sent an email to customer support and they can’t even reply. Sent another email asking why they can’t be bothered to reply and got an automated email back saying “mail not delivered recipients mailbox is full” I’m guessing it’s full because they can’t be bothered to read ANYONES emails! Disgraceful company!

Thought I'd share a review on this site, it doesn't do in play betting but overall has a good selection of sports to bet on, including horses racing and has live streaming. It's withdrawal methods are bank transfers and could use updating maybe, the customer service is very good and I've never had an issue with this site bar the first day I used it which was a while ago now. A good friendly bookie in my opinion and I hope it continues to stay this way.

Geoff Banks Online is a very fair online gambling operator, and offer good odds across a variety of sports. My account was eventually restricted to betting only the board prices, but this was fair given I was beating the SP by considerable margins consistently. I was however allowed a longer run unrestricted than offered by most other sites, and I was able to use this site with confidence that if I won I would be paid. Which is sadly not the case with a lot of the other online gambling firms.Withdrawals are paid via bank transfer and tend to arrive the same day. Also documents are sent upon signup which removes the hassle of having to send them as a condition of withdrawal.

Had one issue a week or so back with a winning bet still pending and they sorted it instantly on the phone. Dealt with sam who was very professional. A proper bookie - punter relationshipSigned up fairly disillusioned with the industry but it became clear Geoff banks was different to some of the bigger names operating in the UK.Happy to wager with Geoff knowing I will receive winnings generally on the same day. Whilst they clearly take responsible gambling seriously, they don’t hold withdrawals without knowing everything from your occupation to shoe size & unfortunately that is commendable these days.Negatives for me is that the app can be slow, however it is easy to recognise the company isn’t operating with the same budget the big boys are. There are limited football markets & events on offer, which could be improved. Also can’t bet in play which is a shame.They get 5 stars from me and I hope the company can grow and invest more into the app so more people can use a proper bookie!

This is my third review of this very below average bookmaker. Tried to place a bet 10 mins before the off, all i got was the spinning disc on screen. Took me a full 10 mins to get the bet on after getting logged out 3 times. Tried to check my transactions then all i got again was a spinning disc on screen. Got to be the slowest app ever for a bookmaker! If you want a bet on i advise you to try and place it a full 15 mins before the off. Beats me why people like this don’t try and fix the things that are wrong with their site. Worst bookmaker ever!

3 years ago I left a positive review on this very firm - it’s still there. Now sadly, to offset, I feel like I’ve been a bit conned. Used to be a regular, got into the habit of using another bookie and recently gave GB another go. Paid deposit by PayPal. Won a few quid (chump change, relatively speaking) and was told I can’t get paid out by PayPal. What was annoying and disrespectful was when I asked this question, I got a one word reply - “No” - rather curt - or outright unprofessional. Section 6.12 of their own terms refers to PayPal withdrawals! So which is it? It’s also pretty routine anti-money laundering policy where most business would return/refund money by the same payment method as which they received. Very disappointed and evidently going to have to pursue elsewhere to get the winnings paid.As a side note in the interests of being constructive - is this something GB can look at? Literally 100s of betting providers do PayPal withdrawals, virtually all of them actually. It’s something that they could offer and is the specific reason why I’d no longer be a customer. And getting the customer service guys to use actual sentences in customer correspondence would be nice, but mountains and molehills as they say…

Site is okay and payout time is within 24 hours so no complaint there.My problem is I made two quick deposits of £100 as I'd meant to deposit £200. My balance showed £200 for a moment then reduced to £100 without placing any bets. I've emailed support with evidence of this and no reply.This has now been rectified and apologised for the delay so have updated score.

Hopefully this review can boost the rating a little. One of my bets was settled as a ‘loser’ when it had clearly one. My first thought was oh no another company trying their luck. Bet was updated the next day followed by an email apologising profusely. I’ve made three withdrawals which have been credited no less than 24 hours later. No troubles whatsoever!!

Appalling customer service; account restricted after a single day of betting, and a winning bet placed at 7/1 they say was a 'palpable error' and will only pay me at 7/2. Had heard some good things about these guys. I signed up for an account and deposited but wasn't able to put on a single bet. Any time I tried, there was an error message. Customer services were hopeless and just told me to reduce my stakes and try again. Even trying to put low value bets on low odds horses - same error message. Asked customer services for any other ideas and they ignored my email.Withdrew my money, moved on. Wouldn't suggest wasting your time with this site.

I have had an account with this bookie for a few months, the people on the phone are very polite but their traders and back office people are clueless. They took away my best odds before eventually closing my account, no reasons given other than betting patterns. Some days I won and others I lost but overall I was slightly ahead. When I chased issues there was little response, their manager Dave is like the Scarlett pimpernel, try getting a call back from him, you have more chance of the king carrying money. I feel let down by their inability to manage my account and lack of forward thinking. Find another option if I were you.

I had a late urge to bet on PSG to beat Man City and contacted support who were excellent and guided me on getting an account and were swift in getting my bet on. But they don't withdraw on the card you deposited and when you try and withdraw they ask for proof of funds - funny that they don't ask for that when you first join. The Geoff Banks online offering has it's flaws. The payments system is annoying and the website is very clunky. They don't encrypt their passwords either. However, everytime I have won money there it gets paid out without any quibble contrary to what others state here on Trustpilot. They have great odds on there from time to time and you can live stream the horses which is remarkable for such a small site.They are a good bunch but obviously their software needs some investment.

Anyone thinking of using this bookmaker should read the reviews here first! Their screens show Best Odds Guaranteed, but the small print, which is hard to find says that this does not relate to multiple bets. Making up your multiple bets gives you the wrong picture! When I questioned GB on Twitter, he took umbrage, blocked me, closed my account, so for several (uncomfortable) hours I could not even withdraw my balance. There are many other bookies that take BOG on multiple bets and don’t spit out their dummies when you ask a respectful question. I am happily placing bets elsewhere!

The actual betting side of things is great - BOG earlier than anyone else, free streaming of all the racing channels - offset by very slow “functionality” of the app - in particular very slow settling of winning bets, even on UK races. Still a big fan of GB but would be great if the slow processing could be addressed. 3.5 out of 5.

Don’t know who these fools are saying it’s a good site, obviously staff for the company,When you deposit it more often than not takes ages to show in your account, so if you want to bet on something you have to deposit 15-20 minutes before the event otherwise you probably haven’t got to make your bet.The site constantly freezes, frustrating you immensely as your trying to place a bet and it just sits in idle mode.One of there staff members ho wrote a review on here said great prices ? There certainly not, most football prices are shocking compared to others, and another member of staff wrote about best odds guaranteed, well I found out costly that best odds guaranteed only applies to singles only , I did a lucky 31 got 3 winners and took the supposed Best Odds, but it didn’t apply to multiple bets , costing a decent amount, all other sites pay best odds on everything.I’ve had enough of this poor site and asked for my account to be closed, so many better choices out there , why waste time here.

Run of the mill average app but when you’ve self excluded from most of the bigger sized bookies you end up desperate, so not looking a gift horse in the mouth .Best odds on singles to be honest it does what it says on the tin But the app is poor logs you out every time you deposit Transactions never appear ie transaction of deposits .Deposit limit is complicated and only per day not per week or month minimum deposit £10 . Yesterday I deposited twice as the balance never updated so deposited again ending up depositing twice by mistake. The link to trust pilot which gives you a free £5 bet for leaving a review didn’t work , like most other features on the app, and the free bet offer for joining no sight of that And if you select for example 3 different horses you could only place the same amount of money on each horse not different amounts Improvement from the last app but still a long way to go

I find the Geoff Banks App and website very easy to navigate. It is a quick loading site and is simple to understand and to use. Other Betting web sites can point users towards areas where they don’t want to go and can be annoying but The Geoff Banks website is more straightforward and is designed for the punters benefit and not the Betting Company’s benefit.

Ok...things I like. Just a bookmaker. No casino, games, any of that business. Transparency through the website, no unnecessary detail. Fairly simple layout.Things I’m not so keen on...slow to update balance/settle events. Site is clunky, with moments of unresponsiveness. Range of offer in terms of some sport not extensive, although probably a good business move.Haven’t tried the app yet, in fairness. Will return to review that soon.

Good fair bookie from what I've experienced. Will take a decent stake, and offer BOG on singles. Payouts are very fast and efficient via bank transfer, and customer service have always been great, and trusted me in one particular case, where I feel other bookies may not have. Things that could be improved are the app (a little clunky and slow/logs you in and out a lot) and BOG on doubles/multis, but all in all, a good service.

Some good odds available and the 50*£10 new customer offer is very generous, although it's not very clear when exactly these credits are supposed to be claimed- is it when you've placed the qualifying bets or when they have settled? In any case they don't always seem to get credited.

Generally positive and would recommend to others. I joined just before Cheltenham, had a few good wins and got my account closed. Not alot different to other bookies really. His odds and EP's were highly competitive. Live chat was prompt and helpfull, enabling me to get my winnings out fairly quickly. On the negative side the website was difficult to see because of the pale colours and it seemed to take a bit longer than normal to settle. With the on-line tools now at a bettors disposal, good value can be found if one knows what they are doing.
