I had the misfortune of making a deposit during payment processing delays on Saturday April 10th (on the Grand National of all days!), received an email 20 minutes later claiming

'We are glad to inform you that these issues have now been resolved, and you should be able to deposit and withdraw as normal again.

Any pending deposits should now have been added to your Matchbook account.'

It has been 7 days and not only has the money not reached my matchbook account but in the mean time support agents do not take responsibility and blame my bank for the 'pending transaction', say they have no control over the payment, take 24hrs to respond to emails and then have the audacity to advise me not to 'gamble' money I cannot afford!

I will change this to a two star review if the money gets returned before my bank automatically retrieves the payment on Sunday 18th after languishing unclaimed by the merchant.

So pleased this exchange is back and running well..easy to use…and reliable..UNLIKE SMARKETS who to be honest I think are a bunch of crooks who should have their licence taken away from them..so have moved all my business over to Matchbook and a NOTHER..not too difficult to work out :)..Well done matchbook keep up the great work , hope to see loads more Smarkets punters switch to a decent exchange. To all use Smarkets guys look at the reviews..your are in trouble if you like winning..

This is a really nice exchange and a good, viable alternative to some of the other, perhaps more household names on the market. The interface is user-friendly and customer service is excellent. Perhaps most importantly, the odds are comparible with those of other exchanges as is the commission rate, and there is always a good amount of liquidity. I can't think of any good reason for the serious sports trader not to open an account with Matchbook and to have this exchange in their regular portfolio.

I made the leap and decided to try Matchbook after experiencing the *worst* Betfair customer service experience.

So, I bet on politics and there were only 3 politics markets open at Matchbook but I found that I was able to bet on them at surprisingly great odds and there was plenty of liquidity. Commission was 2% which is good by me. After the markets had settled (very promptly done which is appreciated) I withdrew £14.9k and the money was in my account literally the next day which was great.

I found the site mostly professional to use and everything was smooth. I do admit to having felt nervous about Matchbook's lack of protection for customer funds if the business ever happens to go bust, so bear that in mind.

And like Betdaq and smarkets, they can't compare to Betfair for number of markets and liquidity but I don't really know how you can change Betfair Exchange's long dominance of the betting exchanges no matter how much I'd love to see that happen. Betfair has really sucked ever since Flutter took them over; it's like they don't even understand pro gambling now. At least now I will have another option to consider and I would use Matchbook again.

"We can Not verify your account, send driving licence back and front pic or utility bills. " I sent driving licence as requested and because the address on the licence is not within the past 3 months. They want utility bills. WHAT A PILE OF CRAP Driving licence is legal document of identification. Even the police accept it when wanting proof of address. 8 other companies have no problem of verification. Use another company betfair betdq or smarkets you will have no problem. Unless your a ghost.

Searching for Fixed Matches???
Here this is the solution for everyone who has been searching for fixed matches, because I saw on comment section on people asking for how they can get a fixed match!
I have actually made over 300,000€ this 2021, a guy on Instagram called Cole_tips made me achieve this, and am still winning up till today, He offers payment after winning

Don't waste your time with this rabble, not only is the exchange **** and a complete waste of time, they make you jump through hoops for the simplest things. I had to change an old expired debit card today on a few bookies sites, there own live help assistants cleared away the old one and allowed me to list the new card with no questions or problem at all. The new card wasn't tied to the old one, as it was a different bank. ( i was no longer with the bank with the old card ) Went on to Matchbook to do exactly the same thing and it would probably have taken me about 10 years achieving it !!!. Wanted id, photo copies of old card, bank statement showing proof of card use, said statement showing matchbook deposit, weather forecast etc, etc. Pmsl, the smart **** on live help stated it was due to money laundering laws and this is coming from a company who had there licence frozen. Amazing that it was only these making you crack the da vinci code, on an account that had been used about 3 times for bets in about 18 months. Needless to say that i told him to **** off and to close my account, as i no longer had the old card or any statements from the bank, plus i had no intentions of doing it. He then insisted i email them, explaining this as an option. Sorry, but no chance, carry on dealing with the thieves and spivs that got your licence frozen. Dogs*** company !!

Posted a misleading boost – Harry Kane to score 2+ on target. When I checked on live chat I was told that this was the correct lay for a William Hill boost – Harry Kane to score 3 or more on target. I understand that other match bettors were told the same thing, before matchbook went on to post what they said was the correct lay bet Harry Kane to score 3+ on target.

Harry Kane scored two shots on target and this exchange refused to pay out or void the first bet leaving many people out of pocket.

Have reported them to the gambling commision.

I closed my account with them as soon as I was informed that they were dealing with thieves and money launderers. The GC gave their license back but we all know how unfit for purpose the GC is in this country. Beware guys this is a shoddy company who have a history of dealing with thieves and criminals.

Very disappointed with the matchbook. They voided Acca while one leg was already in play. Unacceptable, not possible to lay elsewhere. Lost a wedge of money today due to this. They say about their terms on voiding the whole acca if one match called off. But you can't do that when it's already in play. Should at least reduce it to a double and MATCH the bookies.

Definitely taking my custom elsewhere.

Avoid. Matchbook offers Enhanced ACCAs which after starting and a single team selection loses, they will not honour lay bets due to postponement of a selection within the ACCA. Stick to Smarkets instead as they will honour their lay bets and not leave customers out of pocket. Customer service advisors will not take customer feedback either. Use at your own peril of your funds. Suspended once before for dodgy practices and can see why.

On 29th December this exchange voided my Leicester, Chelsea, Man City acca due to the Man City v Everton game having been called off. To do this once the Crystal Palace v Leicester game had started was disgusting.

Fair enough my stake was returned, and I simply lost the value of the free bet I’d used for a back bet. Others lost their stake money on their back bet as some bookies let this acca run as a double – the first match ended as a draw. They thought their lay bet would protect their money, but it didn’t because this bunch of shady tossers had voided the whole acca after the first match had started.

Poor site 5 games in a row I tried failed to load all Red tiger games, experienced lag on others didnt get any winnings left after realizing no professional operator would have a site in this condition.

I started betting months ago, charged my account with £1500,and i lost all. Fortunately for me, last 3 weeks i met on guy on Instagram called ity_tipsterr ,the guy games are nerve wrecking!!!..I’ve won more than £75,000 just within the last 3 weeks, and guess what?, he doesn’t charge a penny for his games, you only pay him after you win!
I will definitely recommend y’a to go check him out on Instagram.

Poor layout and format. Not very clear. Not user friendly. I placed a bet and had won 2 out of 3 fixtures. The last fixture hadn't even played. I backed all three teams to win. I even checked the bet over on live chat.
Later on that day, I found no trace of my bet.
Following day first two fixtures on my treble won. After the second fixture finished, my bet went disappearing again. I contacted live chat to be told that the bets placed had handicaps with a certain amount of goals required. This was the first I had heard of it, considering this wasn't made clear at each stage nor mentioned on live chat, at the first time of checking!

I requested that my account be closed with immediate effect. I use Smarkets and Betfair, for exchanges. A lot better to use all round, user friendly, clearer layout and format. No hidden catches, no deposit or withdrawal issues ether.

Proceed with Matchbook at your own risk! Just my opinion!

My advice is don't use this sub standard exchange. They can keep the money they have stung me for, because they will not get a second chance to mug me off!

The withdrawn amount reaches you faster.
Faster response from support center.
The only issue i have is not being able to see my matched Bets history.

Really good. Bets can be made instantly. The odds combine on the same bet, for example if you make a bet or a laybet and then bet again, the odds will combine and create an average bet/odds/liability.

Also 0% commission on the exchange, a must have exchange alongside Betfair and smarkets.

Pretty good for starters. With one or 2 tweaks and more members on board then the liquidity will improve. Overall though, a very good exchange platform. Also the 0% commission (for now) is a big reason to be a member!

Like this exchange. Its consistent and reliable. Only problem i have is liquidity in tennis matches and lack of live stream. If it had this I feel it would over take betfair as a competitor

Do not use this betting exchange. Matchbook aka Triplebet, and their holding company Xanadu Consultancy, accept money from vulnerable customers to increase liquidity in their sports markets and bolster their profits. They have also been involved in some very suspect breaches of UK gambling legislation (further information is available via the UK Gambling Commission website). Avoid at all costs.
