I joined Skybet thinking as advertised there would be a wide range of gaming with even some Gaming promotions. But every gaming promotion is either “Opt in and place £5 or £10 up to £20 to get 5 free spins. Where as other betting sites offer daily free spins everyday without having to make a bet 1st. Disappointing.

Punters should be aware that opening an account with Skybet , leaves the account open to fraud. Which happened in my case.No amount of correspondence to this bookmaker will facilitate a reply. This so called live chat is useless. They reply with the ploy your details don’t match. Emails are never replied to other than a template response stating we aim to reply within 72 hours. Which never happens.The amount of negative reviews on TrustPilot clearly demonstrates this bookmaker cannot be taken seriously or trusted with the truth.Without doubt this betting company is corrupt and should be avoided at all cost

I have won 4 times on a free William Hill trivia show game and they wont pay me my winnings. This has happened to me before so I now take screengrabs of the winning notifications. I send these images to them on their chat facility but constantly get the same message from them that I’ve been paid everything owed to me when clearly I havent. WH just ended my chat as well and wouldnt help me! Terrible service!

I am yet another customer with bad news, they cancelled my account which had money in it for lack of use, when I finally got it up again the money was gone, It took 3 weeks to be passed around on email, the live chat is a bigger joke…Now that’s sorted they won’t accept a perfectly new bank card which has no history of use, I know it works as I’ve since used it on 3 other gambling platforms, their answer to this is you need to spk to live chat!! Just got off the phone with sky bet I called them back as they left me a voice mail saying they need to talk to me so this worked well as I was able to record the conversation myself. Anyway story goes I’ve been a skybet account holder for at least a decade or so mainly used for football betting. But occasionally i go onto their live gaming for a go on Black Jack. Over the years they certainly had a good few quid out of me to say the least a dam site more than the odd small win (I’m not very lucky). But they have never contacted me in over ten years. Then this weekend just gone I decided to treat myself to a good session on black jack and that’s only because I was on a winning streak for once before to long i was up by £2000 and tried to improve it over the weekend but come Sunday night I was back down to £1000 so i thought I’m coming away with a win for once and withdraw the £1000. Very next day there on the phone to me making out there checking on my welfare. What a load of bull 1st time they done that in over ten years. Anyway they told me they put a daily spend limit on my account. I said I would just close the account through principle and basically they tried to bully me by saying i had to take time to talk to them and tell them what my earnings are and what bills I have to pay and then send evidence of this to them and then they will lift all restrictions. I basically told him to go f—— his self and close my account. The cheek of it all there trying to do is get as much of your personal information they can get. Surely they must of lost a lot of customers through this. All my family and friends are now going to cancel there accounts. So just giving you heads up if you haven’t already opened one my advice is DONT and you already have one GET RID. I know this YouTuber who’s going to do something on there platform about as I have the conversation recorded 😁. Don’t forget I’ve spent a lot of money over a decade and never heard anything from them.

Someone has deleted my winning bets and taken around 100 from my balance. The bets were completely normal bets on horse racing, betting on some favourites which were advertised as tips. 5 to 8 pounds on each horse. Some lost, others won, but I have noticed that the winning bets are deleted from the history. Once I have told the customer service, they suspended my account. How are they allowed to do this, I don’t know ? You can suspend the account, but can’t steel, sorry to say that but this is a theft.

Acca freeze is false advertising. They take it away when you have a chance of winning. It has happened a few times and I’ve learnt my lesson. I had 5 teams, 2 have won and now it’s been taken away !

Had been betting with skybet for about 2 years.I was on a good winning run and because of this I was betting more than usual.They phoned me and asked me about it and I explained it to them.they put a limit on my spending .Then out of the blue my account was suspended until I sent them verification. I sent them all they asked for 3 or 4 times heard nothing.As I had £14 in my account when it was suspended I emailed them after hearing nothing for 6 months and asked for my money back.A week later my money was returned and my account closed citing 18.2 of their t & Cs illegal betting?????.avoid this company they are crazy.

They claim to offer acca freeze on certain matches but then take the freeze option away after you’ve placed the bet when it suits them. Man City women were leading from the 15th minute against Chelsea and no once was I able to freeze this leg of a 5 Team accumulator. Acca Freeze is false advertising.

Be careful all!! Been Skybet customer for over 20years but identified that £65 had been removed from my account yesterday (15/02) and reported that I believe I have been hacked. (Driving at time bet placed on Poker site). I only use Sky bet so concerned yet no response from Skybet Customer Service team and no opportunity to call helpline.UPDATE – another victim who suffered same issue identified via social media yet no update from Skybet. Please all check your accounts

Rip-off avoid I had two bet 1-1 making 2.37-1 i betted £490 winning cash was £1,880 I won one of my bets bet 15min in second half which should’ve raised my cash out to £750 while I only had two bet remaining in the second one my cash out did not rise after winning my first bet infact it drop to £88 unlike most betting sites like bet365 and William hill after winning your higher odd bet increase your cash out with skybet it doesn’t do that

Totally agree with other comments about Skybet. Been a customer for years and years and was very loyal,even though year after year to receive my £5 free bet the expenditure increased year on year and it is now £30. They’ve also changed the free bet to 2×£2.50 build a bet if you don’t nominate what bet you want to use your free bet on. I don’t ever use build a bet, I bet mainly on horses or individual football results not the near impossible build a bets!!! Also free bets have expiry dates on them now of 1 week. Also on horseracing no synopsis anymore on any race. Have they sacked the man/woman that does these write ups. Very very disappointed is an under statement. I am leaving Skybet as from now after all these years because of this shambolic treatment of us punters. Shame on you Skybet!!!!!!

Wow! I’m heartened to see the negative reviews for this site, has gone from being one of the best to THE WORST betting site inside 4 years! Extra place races, they rip people off on prices, at least a point and a half shorter than other rivals and isn’t best odds, and even in non extra place races you still don’t get best odds unless you’re a skybet bonus customer who’s topped up £30 in a week! Horrendous betting company, avoid them like the plague as now they obviously have hit there customer quota they now just rip customers off!

A decent, reliable site. I’ve used them for years and having had issues with other companies, this one has never given me any problems. The odds might not always be the highest available and the promotions are rather limited but I count reliability and trust very highly and so I’m very happy to stick with them.

The sky Bet Club went from £25 to £30 just before the last Footie World Cup.It’s now stayed to £30 for half the free spins and split lower bets Took part in the bet builder club, only to figure out as I thought when I got my £3 free bet I had stake £10 on EACH category for the points but £5 games and £25 price booster isn’t enough

Absolutely rubbish. I’ve been a Customer with sky bet for donkeys years, I would NOT recommend using this site. I deposit good money into their site week after week to get nothing in return, I spend £30 and don’t even get the free bet credited anymore. I have other accounts from Paddy’s and bet 365 who give me loads of free promotions. I’m just about done with sky and will more than likely be closing their account by the end of the day

I can only endorse reviews entered it is impossible to contact them to correct minor errors with your account.When I attempt to do a lucky 15 bet I get a pop up telling telling me I have exceded my limit on that type of bet.It only allows me a 10p lucky 15. when trying to contact them I described this to them about ten times.They just send you round in circles getting nowhere.It should be a minus 5 review.

The £5 free bet kept many punter using Skybet including myself, odds were better elsewhere but this bonus stopped me shopping around and using other bookmakers. Replacing this offer with a very misleading Skybet club where you now get to choose a reward is the perfect example of using glossy advertising to fool the customer into thinking they’ve got something better when in fact all Sky are doing is securing their own profits. The default, 2 x £2.50 buildabet is a deliberate strategy by Sky to screw the customer. I can count on one hand the number of buildabets I have won on. No one I speak to wants this buildabet, if Sky had any customer service they would can this new club and go back to what works

It’s virtually impossible to communicate with skybet . There is no telephone number to customer service. Their live chat is never working . On live chat ,You will get the agent , however there is no facility for the message to be sent. You are simply timed out. And emails are never replied to.It’s outrageous for a company to behave in this manner.Their C.E.O is on record has saying . We are not a public service. And do not want accounts that are not profitable. But it should be a commitment for this C.E.O. To reply to customers concerns.Rowland Bell

Account is being deleted.I’ve been on many sites but this one is special. Their slots are incredibly rigged were you don’t win a thing. You hardly get a bonus round and when you do like I did on horus, I got 24 spins and walked away with 40 pence. The first 22 spins nothing. These people are crooks and I hope to god they get shut down. I wrote about betfred a few days ago but seem to actually win more on that site than this one.. The final straw in a continuous decline of being punter friendly. I have used Skybet for over 15 years. Now my weekly free £5 bet has been withdrawn and replaced by some newfangled bet builder I don’t understand or want. This follows removal of double odds one winner in luckies and always tightening of odds as soon as selections show and other little perks. All in the name of corporate greed.

I have been a long term customer of Skybet. I was not offered a refund today when a player did not start a match I had a bet on,I was yesterday in a different match.They have also changed the way they offer bonuses which goes in their favour and not a loyal customer. I would shop around for other sites if you want to open an account .

I am disgusted at the very poor new free bet from sky bet club that they state is improved.I have been a customer for many years and regularly received a free £5 bet or more recently a free £6 racing bet after gambling £30 minimum a week.This week its been reduced to 2 x £2.50 free accumulators on racing (other sports available)or to put simply a minimum of a treble.No Thanks Sky bet I am moving my business elsewhere from today to a company that actually offers me best odds guaranteed on all uk racing and free bets totaling £15 a week if I invest £20 on selected events.Goodbye Sky Bet.Very Unhappy Customer.

If I could give zero stars I would, I get that the gambling world is a gamble but something about the games just seems to always take your money and I mean surely the luck would be on your side at some point but I don’t think I’ve ever walked away a winner in the last 4 years. Just seems so fixed as if they use the games to claim back money they lose on the live games or other sports but as others have said the suspended games are also fixed to avoid you cashing a good win out. I had been a skybet customer for 6 years and I rated them the best due to the extra place offers with B.O.G and all the casino promotions. But for the last 3 years iv had my slot promotions stopped because they said ‘I manipulated the offers’??? They offered promos, I used the free spins and won minor amounts a few times so they cancelled all promos saying I wasn’t being fair! Then the B.O.G on the horse races were scrapped because they added an extra place. Worst of all I just noticed that my favourite bet doesn’t pay double the odds 1 winner on a lucky15!!! Also to get a weekly skyclub free bet went from staking £30 to now £35 pounds and the free bets on offer now are a lot worse with just mug accumulator bets with not much hope of getting a return. I closed my account yesterday after playing the slots and again losing with even no pretence that I could get a win or a bonus. Before writing my review, at first I was surprised to see so many people complaining about skybet but I’m glad it’s not just me that feels aggrieved and it’s now clear to see that skybet have made drastic changes for the worst.
