only rarely use it as a back up exchange incase betfair goes down , interface is to hard as its only match odds showing , goal markets you got to click on each game then scroll for goal market , then click add to favourites , where as betfair you can just get them all up in one click , shame rarely

Having used all the betting exchanges, I have a few questions about Smarkets.1- Am I betting against a market maker or another punter? 2- Sometimes it feels I am at the back of the queue compared to betfair. Are the market makers waiting until a price is cleared on Betfair before accepting my bet?3- Are the market makers guilty of leaving a larger spread than betfair? Is this just greedy behaviour?It’s a good site, but I want my trades and bets to be taken just as quickly as betfair and at the moment this is not happening. I can understand if it was large amounts of money involved, but often it is just a couple of quid that is not being taken. If Smarkets can solve this, then surely the liquidity will follow.4- It’s lacking 3rd party software like a Bet Angel for example. Are there plans to rectify this, as surely this is counter productive for liquidity.I do find the text size on mobile a bit small, but I feel quite supportive to smarkets. I hope they can sort out the liquidity

Had a great and fair fast, compared to Betfair, text chat about depositing, withdrawing and how to avoid/lessen the chance of an account review when depositing and betting. I would’ve liked the company to be more helpful with discussing how safer betting account reviews could be lessened, or what to expect in general. Was a very to the point and helpful conversation overall, I do recommend this mode of contact with Smarkets.

Extremely Unhappy,Without being logged there is no access to live chat. No phone number to call and query. Nothing.I opened an account around 6 Days ago, which was instantly suspended and documents were requested.I provided this and my account was open 2 days after.I had a total of £2000 in my account of which i planned on using only to find out my account has once again been suspended…No email from them even though it says i should lookout for one? No way to contact to see whats going on… No response to emails too.. Nothing..Its just not professional, atleast email me explaining things but nothing, ive sent a total of 6 different email still nothing back. Poor.

I really can’t understand the bad reviews I’ve had no problem what so ever , customer support is via live chat so pretty much instant , withdrawals instant up to £500 . My opinion as good as betfair

I am only writing this review as Ryan sent an email asking me to do so. I sent them an email over a year ago telling them how poor the navigation was on their website and other observation and never got a reply.This is by far the worse exchange website. I bet a lot on UK horse racing whilst their competition make it easy to select future races with link showing them. You don’t.I pull my hair out. They have a link to next horse race. But that is all. Often the next race they show is so obscure, you scratch your head and ask why the 4.20 at god knows where is shown rather than the next UK race where 98% of the trades are made.You are unable to edit bets. You have to cancel and resubmit it. You have for instance a £100 bet and it shows as £99…why ??On football home page, do they show the popular matches that almost everyone wants to bet on, No, they show some obscure matches which again no one is interested in.Today they are showing the World Cup South qualification matches as the headline events 3 of them.Bolivia v Columbia Equador Paraguay and Venezuela v Argentina. That’s bad enough but these games are for the 10th October. Where is tomorrows mouthwatering clash, hidden away and takes 3 steps to find it.Whoever is designing your site should be sacked.It amazes me that you are unaware of how difficult it is. I use this site very rarely as it drives me insane.

Customer support I’ve been a customer with Smarkets and recently faced an incredibly frustrating situation. I’ve been locked out of my account for several days, and despite multiple attempts to reset my password, I am not receiving any reset emails. I’ve checked my inbox, junk folders, and even tried different browsers, but nothing works.What’s more stressful is the fact that there’s no contact phone number to reach out to directly. I’ve sent several emails and have had to wait up to three days for a response, which is far too long in a situation like this. I cannot even use the help chat because I cannot log in!I’m very keen to resolve this issue, but the lack of immediate support has been extremely frustrating. Smarkets, please reply to my email promptly and provide a solution to this ongoing issue.

money left my bank via true layer but didnt arrive in my smarkets account, cant get customer support at all always in que then chat session closed and ive waited over 1 hour each time.No telephone number to ring so cant seem to get any help!! just fired off a complaint lets see what happens

I have been their customer for last many years.They were good at withdrawals no issue for last 2-3 years but withdrawal times are getting worse as i am still waiting for withdrawal of £1500 for 4 plus days and on other side betfair exchange payout instant.Surely they need to improve like betfair exchange.

Smarketts is a really good site been on here over 3 years now and no issues at all. They are just getting bigger and bigger markets. My money is secure with them, the stats they provide are excellent The odds are right up to time and its really easy for a beginner or pro to navigate quickly through enabling you to keep on top of things. They have responsible gambling tools to use at any time for any length of time. I highly recommend this site to any one wishing to have either some fun or trying to make a bit of money. Good luck every body Always bet wat u can afford and spend time before picking your bets and am sure you will have many positive outcomes.

Hi Smarkets I find offer similar prices as betfair or better. I find them a lot better then your other Normal bookmakers price which are yVery poor value You must at else check it out Or just take the bookies poor value Your feel like a mug then

I recently returned to Smarkets after trying other exchanges and I must say I was impressed with the customer support arond the verifications that you have to go through, which Im not a great fan, and was done quite quickly. The liquidity is quite good in most sports with the exception of greyhound racing. My overall impression is that the site is growing rather than going backwards as some of the previous comments suggest. Its a pity that there isnt an API in place like Betangel, Geeks toy etc this would greatly enhance the customer experiance and interaction with the site and I am certain that this would grow the platform even more. I would have given five stars otherwise:O)

The website, the prices, customer service in general, everything is great about Smarkets. Except one thing. And unfortunately it’s a big one. I’ve just had it clarified that withdrawals take SIX hours. Not instant like Betfair, Skybet, Bet365, William Hill, yes just about every bookmaker going. Smarkets take six hours. In this day and age, with the technology there is, that is simply shambolic. Hence my middle of the road rating. If they sped up their withdrawals, they’d be an easy 5 stars.

It is a total waste of time even bothering to tell this firm what is wrong because there are so many things wrong with this mob , because that is basically what they , they NEVER take any notice of any feedback and everything that is wrong for months continues , no colours on many of the international races , no trap numbers on the greyhound markets , horse racing markets going in play when according to the market the runners are still going down , bets settles wrong , £20 lay on a 2 , and they take 20.01 out of your balance , have £30 on a 2 and your winning are £29.70 , these are just few of the things that need sorting out.

Please look elsewhere than Smarkets. I was in a bet and had the opportunity to cash out when they froze everything due to a technical error and I lost money. Smarkets have really let their customers down. Go for Betfair or someone else, you will thank me for it.

Someone managed to get into my bank account and deposited funds into an smarkets account! I asked them to look into this over a month ago. They don’t reply to my messages for days and then say they’re looking into it! Have some serious dodgey security system by the looks of things! You can deposit money into accounts using other peoples details!

Smarkets rely/target matched bettors to, match their markets. The way they treat them at times and screw them over with their reliance on them is…. can’t be described with filters. Pathetic5 minutes in to the France vs Spain match, I make a deposit to lay more potential bets. SUSPENDED!5 Minutes in to a massive game they do this. There have been occasions in the other knockout games where I could have potentially been absolutely ****** by this. Pure luck I wasn’t.The suspension locks me out entirely, I can’t even view my current bets. Thank god Betdaq are improving so drastically, can’t wait to not have to deal with these scummy lot again
