So my husband normally uses sky bet and came across this website ! Unlucky for him he never read this reviews and what he thought was a £20 bet turned into £180 ! Within minutes of not realising why and so confused on what had happened, he immediately stopped the bet. Contacted customer service! They were rude and unhelpful and a waste of time, and for the privilege of coming across this rip off company we are now at a £180 loss for a bet he didn’t even continue with and should have only cost £20. Website very confusing and misleading, I will be notifying watchdog and speaking to my bank .

Not in anyway surprised by the reviews of this company. I have a £30 monthly deposit limit. For three days continually this company called me during working hours. I emailed in twice and went on live chat asking for them to stop contacting me. The next day they emailed me, but advised this was because I had not said they are not to email!! This company have ZERO customer service skills at all. I went on live chat and said the service was a 'fu**ing joke' and they decided they would know need to review my account. Having not used the account for over two weeks I said that is fine but PLEASE do not email me telling me your outcome as I dont need to know and the sole purpose of the live chat was to ask them to STOP harrassing me. They emailed me within the hour! Long story cut short - if you want to be harassed DAILY by a company about responsible gambling, whilst having a £30 monthly deposit limit in place - use this company! They CLEARLY do not care about customers and only want to get me off this limit and spending more money, as they never ONCE contacted me before limits were put in place! Cowboys and all the reviews in place make sense!!Big thanks to Clive Yeeles the Customer Service Manager who finds it acceptable to email customers who specially ask to not be emailed not even 45 minutes later!!

Scam company. Let you sign up, deposit the money and place a bet for a 'free bet offer', then immediately cancel those offers before you can redeem them. Customer service is also rubbish.Plenty of other decent betting websites. This is an absolute shambles.

Absolutely terrible and do not reward you for loyalty and when you try and discuss it with them they say it is generated by a computer. Let me tell you the computer is broken. So gone elsewhere and Bet 365 have got vem an amazing joining up reward and give you amazing specials and I have had a reward cash bonus both weeks since joining without having to ask. So avoid Sporting Index as they give you nothing and even when you contact them you get nothing AVOID AVOID AVOID

Bet £10 and get £20 in free bets. Sounds great but then once you've deposited the money they e-mail you to say you won't be eligible for any free bet promotions. Sick of these scamming bet sites and not sure how they're allowed to continue.

Hi, please try avoid this scammers.I place a bet and after game finish they give status of the game lost(so I check result and that game was won), so I contact them and they say that I am not right, so 10minutes later they change status of the game în void (and excuse was like the price în moment of placeing bet wasnt updated)After they block my account,so I couldnt place any bets, and I wait more than 48hours to recieve my withdrawl, which always was in 2h în my account I place complain and they redirect me to "dispute departament" which they dont answer, and I place complains and ask for reference no for that that complain and they still dont sent me after 5daysAVOID

I opened an account with Sporting Index a couple of weeks ago. Initially all was well until I had a win on the football and attempted to withdraw my winnings. This was rejected as the bank card I use on my account was in my parents address. The problem I have with this company is that they allowed me to deposit my account using the same card they are refusing to withdraw to, surely this is wrong. The customer service team have been really unhelpful and now I have to send in a full photograph of my entire card details. I am worried now that my card details are now compromised. This company is just like all the other bookies, crooked. Beware companies like this and Midnite. They love taking your money but don't want to pay you out.

The review is specifically BECAUSE of a live chat I had today with BILL, he was extremely rude arrogant and did not help me with anything telling me "no worries you will loose your promo cash by tomorrow" I had to call to sporting index where another guy fixed the issue for 10 seconds. I WILL NEVER EVEN LOG IN TO THIS SITE BECAUSE OF THE EXPERIENVE I HAD TODAY.

Had an account for 20 years or more. They offer a great choice of markets - soccer, racing, NFL, hurling etc. and within markets, especially player performance. Generally a very good experience with occasional freebie bets and it was a pleasure to lose money with them! I was recently informed by them that they have closed down operations outside of UK due to unspecified 'regulatory reasons'. There is no comparable outfit.

Opened an account in 1997. Liked it very much at first. But because I do a bit of analysis before I trade, they clearly didn't feel I was losing enough and started limiting my bets. The worse thing is they don't warn you in advance, so I was not expecting to be told my maximum bet was now just £3 instead of £5 or £10. Sometimes the message was just "your trade was not accepted". Then they accused me of arbing. I had to look that one up. Eventually they seemed to agree I wasn't arbing, and my limits were lifted, but only for a while. When eventually I was limited to £1 bets, I just gave up. Basically, they only want regular losers as customers, and have no loyalty to customers of 25 years patronage.

The website design must be one of the worst in the industry. It is hard to use, the odds awful compared to Bet 385 and 888 Sport, and for some reason I have to place funds into their "spreads" website before I can transfer them to their "odds" website to bet on normal bookmaker's markets. I can see this company failing in the future.

Only had account a few months but promos seem great,iv been given £25 free to spread bet with 3 times already and this most recent one managed to get to over £300 at the end of the 72 hour promo period, and to my pleasant surprise there was no wagering requirement tied to the winnings just the original £25 taken out,I then requested a withdrawal and the money was in my account within minutes, excellent

Falsely advertising match winner in the World Cup when in fact they are selling "result after 90 minutes".William Hill and Ladbrokes clearly state 90 minutes but sporting index advertise "match winner" instead. So you will bet on this and so long as there is added time or penalties for that win you will still lose.Their terms and conditions are also split into a different section of the site as they have spread betting and odds separately. They are all over social media encouraging bets on match winner but many folks will be ripped off by their abuse of wording and non-discloser of 90 minutes. Beware of this unethical firm!Don't bother with these World Cup matches it seems they are all getting dragged out past 90 minutes anyway. I wonder why eh? Eh?

Went to place 7 x £1 bets on correct scores for an upcoming World Cup game and all of my selected odds instantly plummeted. I'm aware that odds fluctuate but the shortest of the selection went from 30/1 to 9/1 and the longest went from 400/1 to 50/1. Withdrew my money and won't be using this company again.

I placed a £10 football bet here after not using the account for several months. I lost and SportingIndex immediately banned me from taking part in any promos. Yea, it's another one of those crazy online bookies who ban people for no reason at all. It's happened to me with a few others and there never seems to be any rhyme nor reason to the decision. This one takes the cake for being the most inexplicable. Were they any good before the ban? Well, since I opened with, "after not using the account for several months", I think you can probably guess.

I had a issue with a error message when placing a bet and asked to contact customer service which I did and explained what had happened I then a short time later got a email from Michael Tredgett explaining there was no error message I then called and spoke to Michael and he then went back on what was in the email to explain that actually he never knew for certain if there was a error message or not after I explained I had screenshot proof of a error he then explained Andy head of customer service was in a meeting and I can call back in 30 minutes to speak with him so I did and Michael answered the call and explained he was still in his meeting and to call back in 10 minutes I then called back 10 minutes later and a gentleman called Lewis answered the call and explained to me Michael has now finished his shift and that head of customer service Andy was never actually in a meeting I cannot believe that a manager of sportingindex would tell a customer such a blatant lie for a sports betting company to act in such untrustworthy manner makes you question the integrity of the company I will now contact hopefully Andy tomorrow morning

Allowed me to open an account and complete 4 of 5 steps of the welcome offer. But then when I tried to deposit funds to complete the final step (effectively the free bet), they wouldn't allow me to deposit funds.Apparently, all my bank statements meeting all their requested criteria were insufficient.

First of all, all the bookmakers are there running a business, and will be happy when they're taking more money from us than they're returning.I can only really review what happens when things go wrong - I mean typically when I made a mistake, as I did yesterday. This has happened a few times, and without hesitation, I've found Sporting Index completely respectful and helpful when voiding bets when I've made a genuine mistake. That to me is much more important than any decision to restrict account or business etc, which is their decision after all. I've found the staff at Sporting Index generally respectful and reassuring. Thank you.(As it happens, voiding the bet yesterday worked in their favour, but that changes nothing of course.)

When companies, ( and i really do try my very best not to p**s myself laughing ) describe themselves as bookmakers, they are not only deluded in their description of what they actually represent to the game and to the betting public, but actually, they are an absolute disgrace and utter embarrassment to the profession. I've dealt with some right charlatans over the years and rightly named the likes of Skybet, Betfred, Betway and Boylesports as the worst in a crammed bowl of bad apples, but then along came SPORTING INDEX, who decided to throw their own hat into the ring of the worst online layer and yes, i know that its almost impossible to beat the others named, but they managed to achieve just that, probably by the length of the M6, even surprising me with how gutless, turgid and spineless these really are. Upon visiting there glossy website to open an account, your greeted by the exited presence of icon Frankie Dettori, but sadly, any excitement is very short lived, as your account will be lucky to last from autumn to spring, ( just like mine did ) as the usual fire alarm siren will awaken the traders once your a few quid in front and you will be reduced to betting with pennies quicker than an alcoholics entry into his local at opening time. I placed just 5 bets with these spivs in all, yes, a grand total of FIVE, !!! first two where losers, an ante post bet at 7-4 on Honeysuckle for Cheltenham, then a further two each way bets that were placed, with a total profit of around £200 quid, yes folks, TWO HUNDRED QUID, then i find out today, ( upon trying to place another ante post bet ) through there live help service, that I've been restricted to virtually ZERO. Holy s**t batman, you seriously couldn't make this up and is it any wonder why the game has gone totally down the sewers. I thought your business policy was to take bets, oh sorry, ( cough cough ) my mistake, i totally forgot about your cop out terms and conditions, but FIVE. !!!! An absolute joke company that isn't fit for purpose, unless of course, you want to screw up your life and finances all day in their no limit bent casino. !! Do not, under any circumstances, bother wasting your time here...

I was offered a free bet..so I contacted them and asked for confirmation of the details. .I was assured that my bet was free..and was only putting one pound of my own at risk...however. .I lost 11 pounds..so I contacted them..and they told me that I had been given incorrect information. ..I told them they were cheats and scammers and their response was to close my account. .and send my balance back to me...less the 11 pounds..so your can see that this is a disreputable company. .and I advise your to stay away from them..And now to add insult to injury..this company say that they have refunded my loss .. Totally untrue....they just returned the amount that I already had in credit..prior to the bet in question...even though it was mentioned that they would refund me the loss....then they closed my account..and the only reason they are saying things now..is because I told the truth on trust pilot...So now readers you can see how this company operates..and it is a stranger to the truth..which incidentally they have a record of every conversation...so I will continue to spread the word...and as you can see..they already had a bad reputation before I posted a review.. unsurprising..given the obvious lack of business acumen...

I recently applied to open an account with this company. They wanted me to send my PASSPORT and PROOF OF ADDRESS via EMAIL! I've tried to explain email is not a secure way to share this kind of documents as emails are not encrypted and my documents could be easily downloaded by others while in transit between my email server and theirs.Companies that are committed to customer security have a secure website where the documents can be easily uploaded! I would say don't trust a company who's not commited to customer security!

BEWARE - Sporting Index offer betting incentives to join them - such as free bets - but if your free bet results in you winning, you may experience being accused of cheating and have your winnings removed and account closed!Sporting Index treated me appallingly, making me feel like I was a criminal, leaving me very upset and souring my view of these companies. Ringing me at my place of work the day after winning a bet with them and then when I asked them to call me out of office hours, calling me the same day while I was driving home from work, and ignoring the fact that I said I was concentrating on driving, to interrogate me about my account. Disgusting behaviour. If you don't want people to take advantage of joining offers, Don't offer them!

The range of spread betting markets you can bet on is vast, however when you bet on these markets, especially the more obscure markets, and you start to get some success i.e., you actually beat the bookie and make money regularly you'll soon find that these clowns will start to strangle you, to the point that your account dies a slow and painful death! You'll find that, without any explanation whatsoever, that your £ per point will be limited over time. My bets were unrestricted at first, then the maximum bet i could place was limited to £3 a point, then £2, then a pointless £1, to £0.75, to £0.60, then to £0.30, then to £0.10. I spoke to one of these clowns to get an explanation...they refused to give me one, all they said was it was a managers decision...LOL...thanks for the insight clowns. I asked them what was the point restricting me to £0.10 a point, they may as well just write to me to advise they do not want me as a customer...clearly that's the outcome they wanted, but instead they just treat you like an idiot and start playing this bet limit game with you if you win regularly, in the hope your get fed up and stop betting. If you're a complete loser, and lose money with these clowns then your money will be welcome, but if you're smart and actually beat the bookie, expect to die slowly and painfully. They don't like winners, they only like losers. If you want to spreadbet, o with Spreadex or Sportspread, not these bunch of absolute pathetic clowns.

Betway is pretty great. I have been a Betway user for quite some time and for the most part I’ve had good experiences and actually enjoy using this sportsbook. Unfortunately, I tried to withdraw $5800 last Wednesday. Betway confirmed my withdrawal and settled it as paid on Friday. I did not receive my funds while also being told to contact Gigadat to inquire. Gigadat bounced me back to Betway, stating that no withdrawal got pushed to their system, but Betway says it’s paid. This is a serious concern as no funds have been released to myself and it’s been over a week. I really do like utilizing this app, but no customer should have to chase their withdrawals, especially when our deposits always work… I have obtained my bank statement for this period to aid in this process but still have not heard from Betway. Imagine not getting the money that you earned. Not right
