SCAMMERS DO NOT USE!! Have stolen 70k of money.
Do not use or trust this company.
They are holding onto and stealing 70k of my business partners money. They will not release the money and are just trying to take more money of us in order to release the money already owed. We WILL take legal actions to resolve this but want to warn any others to not get caught in the same trap!!

They are threatening to take me to court I sincerely hope they do because they owe me money. They are dishonest and irresponsible. I have all the proof which I'm happy to share. I just hope they have not deleted all the phone calls.
If you would like to see the proof let me know.

***The website is from 2003 by the looks of it and the prices are so bad it's not worth entertaining. Check oddschecker if you need confirmation how bad they are. Advertising on oddschecker and then going worst prices around is pointless. Football is especially bad

I understand they're primarily spread betting but their fixed odds are not good. Firstly no live feed so if I place a bet I have to go watch it elsewhere. How can you not show UK horse racing in 2021??
Secondly no Best odds guaranteed and thirdly and most importantly the odds are truly truly terrible. If you check an odds comparison website you'll see they are never ever top price on football. They're always near the rock bottom. No idea why they bother with fixed odds if they're not going to give any value. If you see a team 4/6 they'll be 4/7 you can bet on it

Don't bother. I can only imagine the great rating are from people who have been asked for reviews knowing they'd give great feedback

Very honest. More importantly caring. Accidental big deposit. Rang them after withdrawing excess amount and they said they could not do anything as I had already withdrawn so I would have to wait 3-5 working days. But then they rang me up following day and exceptionally cancelled withdrawal and sent me back the extra funds on the same day. Words not enough to praise customer service. We all lose to bookmakers, it's just a question of losing small as betting is a mug's game. Frankly, I'd rather lose to Sporting Index. Good people.

They are perhaps the worst possible organisation . They suspended the online activity after I made some profits. Wouldn't recommend them .
Customer service was absolutely awful to say the least. Rather than explaining the reasons just wanted me to close me account.

Sporting Index have asked me for my comments in public
I am quite happy with their service . I have had no problems over the last 15 years plus.I would recommend them .However I think they are no better or worse than their competition.
My major gripes are that they are very slow in listing the new spread after suspension when betting "in play" and the spreads are often I think wider than what is reasonable.

Never had a problem with SI. Get regular emails with bonuses fine company. Wish there was no stop loss of the total goals market tho but just a small gripe. Oh and the odds on the sports side could be better but overall good betting site

I have been client of SI for over 25 years. The service in general has been fine. The new app is a retro step, too many issues to explain but one stands out and that is ability to bet when low in funds but even worst case downside does not turn funds negative…'computer says no syndrome'.

the betting offers are fun but you are boxed in so usually not worth it – like betting with a hand tied behind your back.

I have been using sportingindex for over 25 years, initially through the telephone operations and then online. Throughout that time I've enjoyed the ability to bet on a variety of intuitive markets, both pre match and in play.
If there ever had been a need to contact the customer service team everything has been handled professionally and efficiently.
I would personally recommend the service for anyone interested in moving their betting onto a different platform with a spread edge. Always remember though to bet within your limits and control what you spend.

Great product all round. Interesting markets covering pretty much anything you’d like a bet on. No bets refused,,. all you need to win is to outwit SI’s market setters !!,.

Excellent service. Puts up horse racing spreads early in the morning and, within reason, doesn't refuse bets, unlike the most well known rival spread betting firm.

Never had a problem, great service. Lot's of free bet offers too. I wish other bookies would offer the same. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and again. I can't understand the poor reviews. Easy to use website. What's not to like?

Used SI since the 1990s when bets had to be struck by phone! I think they continue to offer an excellent betting platform. At least they'll take a bet unlike so many of the traditional 'bookmakers' who apply pathetic limits (or even close your account) as soon as you have a decent win. My only gripe… their traders are better equipped than they were 20 odd years ago and as a result make less mistakes…..!

Great betting company. Lots of promotions for existing customers and “cover your losses” bets.
I’ve been a customer for about 15 years and feel existing customers are treated better than new customers which is unusual in the betting industry.

had an account, 5 or 6 years, even now still getting consistently good promotional offers, with the spread bet bringing its own set of challenges and diversity to betting, with the addition of the odds markets, money back from bad beat offers, fast withdrawals, good support live chat, cant say I have had a single problem over the years, cant really fault them, top marks

I have created an account and placed a bet with £172 of my own money and subsequently won £324 pound.

shortly after i received a phone call from sporting index and through poor communication skills on there behalf and the environment i was in at the time asked if they could call back at a later time (which they never)

upon withdrawal of the money i became aware that my account was suspended, so i phoned up to query why. i was told that because of the initial telephone conversation they suspected that it was in-fact somebody else (using my name, address, email, debit card and account) who placed the bet????? and asked if i could provide details.

Upon this request i emailed this company a bank statement, photo ID and proof of address as requested.

the next day i received an email stating that my money £324 was being withheld due to there incorrect suspicion. My account had also been closed down.

the terms under which they excessed this (illegal right) was as follows.

"we reserve the right to withdraw the full amount of the promotional betting cash or any winning if they have reasonable grounds to believe that there has been any co-operation, collusion and/or organisation of bets or if the account is being used for the benefit of a person other than account holder"

so firstly the promotion covers losses up to £100.
the bet i placed was with my own money £172 and won so the promotional loss coverage was never even exercised and the money being withheld is NOT 'promotional betting cash' but my own hard earned legal tender.

and secondly, the reason you have illegally withheld my money from me is because you believe I didn't place the bet myself.

This assumption has been made due to the fact I did not acknowledge them during the cold call i received by them.

in response to this i have explained that,

A. You phoned from a withheld number.
B. the line was poor.
C. The person who called me didn't explain himself clearly
D. I was busy.
E. Once he explained himself clearly i said ok, and asked him to call me back (which he never bothered to do)

in addition to the explanation i have also provided a bank statement, proof of address and photo identification and confirmed by email and phone that it in fact was me.

in-light of becoming aware my own money is being withheld from me under an incorrect term for a incorrect allegation i phoned up to ask….. i was met by confrontation and when i became irritated was told not to shout or else he would have to also shout, i was also told this was there final decision and if i didn't like it i could complain. they have 8 weeks to respond to a complain (according to there self written guidelines.)

The bottom line is i have jumped through every single loop, confirmed my identity whenever asked and under the false pretences of factually incorrect terms cited to me they have tried justifying why there totally unprovable and incorrect allegation is enough grounds (in there eyes) to illegally withhold my money from me.

i would also like to add that the company has provided absolutely no evidence whatsoever to support their claim.

in layman's terms i have put a substantial amount of my own money into there site and won a bet and they are refusing to give me it back.

i have been left with no choice to contact IBAS and will be making an official complaint in due course. failing this i will be contacting the County Court Money Claims Centre in attempt to get my money back from the grasp of this fraudulent company.

AVOID THIS SITE AT ALL COSTS

Took me off promotions without informing me and they say its for my own good which is nonsense. When an underdog scored the 1st goal they keep betting suspended until the favorite team scores the equalizer so you cannot win any money that way. Awful scottish company run by 2 neds clive (who calls their kid clive) poor thing and Murdo the wnaker

Sporting index have asked me via email to review them here. They seem to be well managed and responsible, they ring you up to double check you understand what you can lose. Their sign up offer is really good and the couple of bets I've had on their fixed odds site have been good value. So I only have good things to say

Always the most professional sports trading company to deal with. Excellent customer service and support 24/7 and nothing is too much trouble when assisting with your business. 10/10 which is why I have been a client of theirs for so many years now.

When I dared to question an incorrect make-up on a Super Bowl market, SportingIndex blocked my account. They have £183 of my money which I cannot now access.

But I was right! And despite partially correcting the wrong make-up (on their "Stranger Things Have Happened" market), they've still managed to get it wrong! They first tried to claim it was 20; then changed it to 30, but the actual result was 40, as any review of the match will show.

You wonder if SportingIndex had an adverse position on that market – whatever the case, it's deeply undermining of customers' trust when a supposedly reputable company can't get something so simple right. They shouldn't offer these 'special' markets in the first place if they can't be bothered to follow the action properly and arrive at the right result.

Wnt let me upgrade to a spread account only odds…… I work full time and understand the rules of spread betting. Stick with SPREADEX they accept you for a spread account with no problem. Thank you for your email….. Like I said I had no problem with SPREADEX so maybe your threshold is just a tad high…. A rating of 3.5 on trustpilot shows your not a great company to deal with, I will stick with companies that want my custom. Thank you

As I said in a previous review, website is shocking, sometimes works, not other times. Today on Saturday, busy day I would imagine for business. Problems with site, come back later or phone. Strange how other betting sites don't continually get these problems.

spread betting is fantastic concept and sporting index are the market leaders, i rarely bet any where else, i do however have 2 issues with them , the app is terrible and their customer service need brushing up.. fwiw.. 8/10

I have bet with them for overb20 years, great company, but their website is useless, can't place a bet, cos we're having difficulty with the website. Change the record band get it sorted, you know you're losing money by being useless. If you can't manage it for yourself, what chance has customer got ? Predictably useless.

Genuine betting site that is very helpful with advice on how spread betting works. Also has an odds sportsbook… Withdrawal times are pretty quick to debit card – under 2 days and no hassle.

Really good website, not so easy to navigate at first but once you get the hang of it, you’ll find it pretty easy to use. The interface of their in-play and live betting is really good. They do not offer odds, instead they offer ‘spreads’ which you can buy or sell. No bonus or promotion offers.

I've been a Sporting Index customer for about 18 months now and have always been impressed with the service they offer. Professional and dependable, I have never had any issues with winnings and withdrawals, in spite of the fact I've taken more money out of them than I've put in since I first signed up!

I really enjoy the wide range of markets available, including some really creative indexes with seemingly limitless possibilities. Just check out one of their Goal Bananas markets as an example of the incredible variance you can get within a single spread.

Some good promotions keep me coming back and if I had a complaint it would be that the mobile site I don't find as fluid as the desktop version. But it does a job without being flashy.

I've recommended Sporting Index to several of my sports betting enthusiast friends and all have been impressed. It might not have some of the bells and whistles of traditional bookies but what they may lack in sparkle and shine they more than make up for in the breadth of their offering.

i applied for an account 4 months ago, which was rejected for unreasonable reasons even thoo i went extra mile to give them proper info still it was reject without any solution of which i find this is not fair and not right at all.
