TonyBet Review

I don't usually post a review for a bookie as I'm pretty newbie and inexperienced, but I wanted to do so with TonyBet as I feel I've been trapped with their Welcome offer, TAKE200. I decided to give it a go with £50 even though working it through with 8 x wagering sounds a bit hassle but could be fun as well! Well it turned out after just 2 bets I'm only able to place £10 or £8 or £5 as my bet amount has been restricted. There is no way I can work it through now with 8 x wagering on £50. The live chat person just provided me a template explanation which states as if I "breached the provisions of the Regulation or play in a bad faith manner". ??! I just pray my another bet will win so that I can withdraw my money to break even (if I can ever withdraw?) and get out of the trap! I also hope their Manager see this comment so they know what's going on with their customer's account. To be (still) fair I liked their web interface quite a lot as it's simple and easy to navigate. Fraudulent site – I think I won about £4-5 on about 1000+ spins , no bonus features – dead spins – I closed my account within 30 minutes of opening it and playing – I heard they are taking people’s money and closing down soon – dreamvegas & casimba very good sites

Tonybet are pretty good, never had issues withdrawing my winnings, odds 'aren't bad', site is pretty easy to use and fast. Lack of sports promotions especially in comparison to the 2 or 3 interesting ones when I joined over a year ago is the only negative really

Can't really fault. Can take a couple of days to withdraw, compared with some that are under 6 hours. Great games, usually win, so no complaints here! Plus the best ever promos!

Like others have stated, bonus feature on slots is almost impossible to get. Seems like they have set a limiter on the chance of hitting them. Could spin continuously for half an hour and not get on the bonus where other sites would hit within minutes. The promotion of upto 300 free spins a week is good in theory when actually you be just as good playing free play slots as chance of walking away with any money is slim to none.

Some of the reviews are probably done by their competition. I have been a client on their site for more than an year now and they have been outstanding so far. The new interface might be a lil' clunky, but it has very good odds and plenty of selection. They dont limit you to pennies when you win, as most of the other sites do. And their customer is always fast and efficient.

It took some time to complete bonus rollover requirements, but I was quite lucky and won a decent amount so no complaints from my side. Document verification could be faster though, but once the account was verified they released my winnings within a day

1. You don't get the "welcome bonus" until you've wagered your initial deposit 10 times. I only got 1/3 of the way in and I'll be damned if I give them more money in order to receive a bonus that I have to wager a further 25 times.

2. I didn't receive the bonus spins that were attached to the welcome offer I signed up with.

3. There is no live chat.

4. Like others have said, none of the slots listed in the "bonus slots" pay out. It's as if they've removed all features from the slots.

Don't waste your money here.

Casino bonus is good, for depositing £10 a week you get up to 300 free spins on several games. However you'll just be throwing £10 a week away as previously stated it's virtually impossible to win and just seems like all features have been deactivated across all slots as they never appear. You could be playing for an hour on here with no feature and then play the same slot on a different site and and within 5 mins your on.

I have been betting on this platform for years now and I have never had any issues with them. Although the website is not patterned like most modern websites and can be confusing at first but once you get a hang of it you can just move from there. Good customer service with telephone, email, and live chat.

They suddenly closed down my account without writing me or anything. I then wrote them and here 7 days after I have not got any respond from either of the two departments I've contacted. Their chat will not help me out either.

I really dont understand why bookmakers dont get that they are in the service industry – and that is why Bet365 is miles better than everyone …

If option for 0 star i would. Awful gaming platform, limited sports betting. bonus is actually pointless cos they limit your betting if you win. seems very similar to 22bet in this aspect. Dont give them a penny as they only want you if u loose money. its sad that if you are lucky in a bet they still prevent withdrawls

Well after playing on this site I have to say they dont come any worse great selection of games but impossible to win no features played and lucky to win bonus rounds it's a poor website myangels this is my update from my last one

The website has a relatively modern-day design but it does not have a standard sports menu which makes it a little difficult to use and in the main betting interface, you may not be able to tell two events apart but the live betting interface is a lot easier to use. They have a wide range of promos.

I tried to withdraw my balance and informed that I need to provide a screenshot of my PayPal account. I wouldn't feel comfortable doing this however PayPal don't allow screenshots to be taken for security reasons. Understanda. Tonybet are not interested and inform me that if I don't provide it then they can close my account under the gambling commission guidelines.

After joining this site you soon realise that unless you want to stake 30p-£30 max then it's definitely one to avoid!! Every single football game has a max stake ranging from pence to a max of around £30! I was not able to stake the amounts I wanted to at any point, it doesn't even refer to traders for higher amounts like other sites. They also make sure that they wait the full 72hours before processing your withdrawals, I'm guessing this is to tempt people to cancel their withdrawals!! Really poor set up which isn't known until you actually join an find all these restrictions in place.

Terrible welcome offer. Every other site that I have used will provide their free bet upon completion of 1st bet but this company make you jump through hoops and make outrageous number of bets before any free bets are permitted.

Spoke with customer service who were rude and cancelled my account. Todd on the customer online chat team was no help whatsoever.

I'd recommend every other betting company before using this one.

Like many reviewers have highlighted below, I signed up for an account with TonyBet on the 23rd February 2019, placed a small first deposit into my account as I do with all new sports betting sites and logged out. Upon trying to access the account later in the day I was informed the account had been closed. I've no issue with the companies decision to not validate me an account, that is their choice. What I find unacceptable is that we are now at the 17th of March 2019 and my initial deposit has still not been returned.

Best advice I could offer, if there is a 1000 other sports betting companies available to use online, I would try the other 999 before thinking of signing up with Tony Soprano Bet

Joined last night deposited £20 with the code TONY200 (sign up bonus). No bonus received when I asked why I was told I never entered a code. Tried to log in this morning to my account and now it’s been disabled!! Absolute fraudulent company!!

Absolute scam! AVOID

Offer a 100% deposit bonus, however they don't tell you that you first have to wager 10 X your deposit just to get the bonus (So, deposit £100 and you have to wager £1000 before you get your first deposit bonus)

Never seen a casino with suck a low trust score on here before. If this was my brand I would be embarrassed

I created an account with these fraudsters and had the cheek to win money on the first day I used them. Three weeks later I'm still waiting for my withdrawal to appear back in my bank account. I've received no communication from them and will now make a complaint to the gambling commission.

Like many others, I have been caught in the scam that Tonybet describe as a 'welcome offer'. As soon as I placed a couple of winning bets to meet the wagering requirements, they restricted my stakes to impossibly low levels. I was left with something like 3k and my stakes were restricted to £10 or below, leaving me to place THREE HUNDRED bets to cover the requirements. Virtually impossible.

Now, this is a fraud, plain and simple, because they use their terms to deliberately destroy any chance anyone has of fulfilling the requirements. Basically if they do not want you to get hold of the bonus (and especially if you happen to win some of your initial bets, which I did), they can use these terms to stop you dead in your tracks. If you speak to any of the faceless customer agents, all they do is copy and paste their terms. That is not a company which any discerning punter should be dealing with.

It's very clever, it's very deliberate, and in my opinion, it is borderline criminal fraud.

So here's where I am. I'm going to file an official complaint with IBAS and the UK Gambling Commission. I cannot urge people enough to do the same. Receiving one complaint might raise an eyebrow, but if 10, 20, or 30 people or more complain, then something might be done about this.

Just to add, no other company I have ever dealt with have pulled this trick. Remember the old Latin phrase 'caveat emptor' – buyer beware. Do not be tempted by these fraudsters and con men.

signed up, made a deposit then they demanded all sorts of sensitive documents to 'activate' my account. when i tried to withdraw my money they refused until i had given them my documents. Extremely scammy. i asked them to just close my account and return my cash but they refused. Beware identify theft with this company. I'm going to report this company to Watchdog for sure.

Avoid unethical company who do not honour sign up bonus. I initially thought it might take 24hrs however when I contacted support they claim the code was not entered when I know with 100% certainty it was.

The code was also entered it a 2nd time on the add promo code before any bets were made. Very rude customer service whom basically called me a liar.

Wish I would have seen these reviews previous to sign up.

Will be contacting the gambling commission as it appears these have a long history of ripping people off.

The customer service is useless, a waste of time. They just want your money anyway they can get it. They are deliberately misleading the punter with fraudulent business practices. They shouldn't be allowed to operate whatsover. I have over 25 online betting accounts I run with barely any problem but dealing with these people over the past day or two has been a complete joke They are SCAMMING people on dodgy opening offers that you will NEVER receive. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THESE DOWNRIGHT FRAUDSTERS. I have complained to IBAS who are looking into them and also to my bank who are attempting to contact them.

Avoid at all costs! Would not honour free bet offer, despite meeting the requirements. I am sure they will reply with their standard t's and pc's response like on other reviews, but we can't all be wrong. Just a way to avoid the offered promotion. Customer service was shocking. They just don't care. So many other better companies to use.

Update following companies response. At no point wasit asked who I was referred from, so how do they know for sure it wasn't one of their affiliates and not a technical hitch. If it wasn't then they should do more to prevent an unaffiliated company making the referral.
