Unibet Review

I signed up to Unibet this month and made a number of deposits. I received an email to say they have had to close my account due to a self exclusion in place. I contacted support and they said due to my self exclusion at their sister site 32Red. I genuinely didn’t know that 32Red was a sister site of Unibet. I used the exact same details including the same email address to open both accounts so at least they should have picked this up during registration. They have refused to refund my deposits so I have had to take the matter further and make a complaint with eCogra. I will update one the case has been dealt with …

I had in play bets I was trying to cash out on basketball. My bets were winning at the time and they blocked me as I had not responded to the deposit limits thing that pops up, I thought I could just knock that bit to the side as it doesn’t explain much very well. This part just runs on even when you’re not using the site. I complained at the time and did not get a response, I received a call on a different matter about deposit limits, responsible gambling and after having to mention it again the advisor said she would have a look into it. We agreed to a deposit limit but what wasn’t agreed was a block on my account for a month. Now I can’t see my bets to follow up the complaint. This is an absolute scam and very unethical. There has to be more regulations in place where the company should discuss before they act as they are robbing people left, right and centre. They are not protecting the customers they are protecting themselves to make the maximum in profits. I have tried further on chat as I can’t see my previous bets. The advisor ignored my issues and stated that it was the complaints department. I had stated I would have to go through the advisor to get to complaints, only after this would the advisor take my full complaint. Advisor also tried to deflect saying that cash out is not always offered by trader, this was available at the time but it was unibet who blocked my in play account. Why was this made difficult? And advisor stated it can take up to 8 weeks, how many complaints do they have? It says a lot, the company are scammers. Unethical. They should be shut down.

My account was restricted in October (I don’t know why) but since then four separate amounts of £10 have been taken from my account. Obviously I complained and asked for my money to be returned, I sent them bank statements as proof. Their answer was to tell me I should call the police! What a joke!! I’m looking to escalate this to the gambling commission as this company are nothing but thieves.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!I deposited £200 and won £400 profit.I tried to withdraw and they requested 5 different sets of documents (selfies, letters sent via post, source of funds, statements etc.)I sent these across only for Unibet to steal my winnings and are now refusing to send back my deposit.They are thieves and I have no idea how they can get away with stealing our money!!!

Made a snooker bet today Si Xu vs Ding, frame 13 first colour potted to be from the Baulk ( yellow, green and brown) Yellow was the first in as I watched the match. I won the bet but it came back as lost, I checked with other bet sites and I was right all the way. Contacted Unibet and after they reviewed they told me that I lost my bet. I have challenged that and this was raised, still awaiting for the outcome for 3 hours.

Have lost approx £20,000 with them in the last 18 mths.I am a member of GAMSTOP but foolishly I asked friends who did not gamble to open accounts which were totally and exclusively funded myself and from the same bank account and I can say without a miniscule of doubt that they knew it was me funding the accounts as it would be impossible not to (as the same bank details were used each time via apply and revolut pay) and I also know a senior bookmaker insider who has advised that I am a ‘marked man’ and perceived as a loser so they will play the game knowing I will lose everything. They and most bookmakers make 95-99% of their money from problem gamblers or death row gamblers like me.I have written to them and numerous betting firms as have my friends involved asking why as per direction from the GC but they have flat ignored everything.I will leave a legacy of all these failings if it is the last thing I ever do!

I opened a unibet account about two months ago and placed a few bets on the Goodwood festival. I had a big winner of about 3000 pounds. I withdrew and everything seemed great. So I started to bet again during the racing at the York in the end of August. Again I had a nice winner this time about 2700 pounds.Unibet then asked for verification. I sent everything they asked for and then they closed my account randomly and wont reply anymore to my emails. They stole 2700 winnnings from me that I won fair and square!

They are absolute criminals. I placed one bet, won £200 then they closed my account and tried to steal the money citing fraud. Don’t go near them as you’ll have to take them to court to get your money back.

Bet on the horses with Unibet over the course of several months and winnings were withheld when I tried to make a withdrawal, currently in the process of taking them to court! Stay well clear of Unibet!

Robbed by a multimillion pound company.Please do not join these scammers.I wished I had read the reviews before I joined.I deposited £50 and after a couple of £2 yankees my balance went to £560.I tried to withdraw £300 and was told I had inside knowledge and as the small print in their rules they had the right to refuse payment.How is this legal???Why isn’t the government or police doing something about this???

Please avoid at all costs. Their welcome bonus is a scam. Any winnings they credit as “bonus funds” and unless you bet those funds £900 over they don’t let you withdraw. They basically just steal £10 off you. They also mislead and provide incorrect information. They told me via webchat I could withdraw funds the follow day but the next day and agent told me completely different. Please avoid

Unibet have an ongoing new customer welcome offer to deposit £10 or more and receive £20 casino bonus funds and 150 free spins 24 hours after the initial deposit.After not receiving my free spins, I asked a live chat agent for help. I was told that 3 hours before my spins were due to be credited, a “bonus block” was applied to my account and was given no reason as to why. Signed up today and wow has to be the worst site yet. Accept the welcome bonus and have your funds locked away, as soon as you use your funds the game changes, Loss after loss – thousands of spins trying to hit the bonus and never came. I am in the process of trying to withdraw my winnings.I Joined up and I was told I was fully verified. I Deposited £150 and was fortunate to have a few winners to the some of £975. I tried to withdraw £500 and was asked to verify my address and ID so I did.Then 2 days later I received an email asking me to send a picture of me holding my ID up to my face and a picture of my bank card I used on my unibet account. So I did. 3 days after that I was asked to send a picture of me holding my proof of address letter to my face and a pdf of my bank statement showing the unibet deposit.Which I did. Now they are telling me that the statement has been rejected due to it not having the correct info on it even though it has my name address and the unibet deposit as they requested. They have run out of things to ask me for and are now lying about a document they have asked for. This is disgusting behaviour from this scam company. I think they want me to give up but I’m not going to.
