Just because someone doesnt want to use their service anymore they block them from all other providers. Poor customer service, no one wants to give answers to queries, just close the chat. Been with other providers for 15+ years, used William Hill for a couple of months and they have closed down all betting accounts and added to gamprotect list because i asked them to close my william hill acount and they refused repeatedly. I asked for the closure due to the poor sub standard customer service i received when enquiry in the chat about a promo i was no longer eligible for. When no answer was given, and the chat was repeatedly closed before i could ask them to elaborate on their copy and pasted message, i requested my account be closed and they remove my details, they refused. Eventually i thought this was resolved, only to find out they have added me to gamprotect and blocked me using any other gambling site. I have depression and anxiety which i stated to them, i believe this is discrimination due to my disability. I have never shown “worrying gambling behvaiour” and gamble only when and what i can afford to lose and only as a recreation activity and to help with social isolation. A company claiming to care about the welfare of the people who use its service, this does not show that. This shows a money hungry company who only want you to gamble if its through them, and they will stop you from gambling elsewhere if you try.

Awful, It’s a complete scam, has the features ready to pop on 10p a spin and you have have to spend atleast £30 to trigger them and you don’t even win money you put in back. Just william hill scamming customers to make sure they get their money back. £530 down since opening account and the most I’ve ever won is £30. Withdrawal via faster payment stuck on processing. Contacted customer support every day, told the same thing. Payment team is looking into it. Support manager dane gave me personal assurance, to no avail. Every day same thing via chat, the only way it seems you can get in touch. So many 1 star reviews. Like others been with them years, but after i eventually get my withdrawal that is it. Use this site at your peril. All good till something goes wrong.

Do not give your personal information out to “their customer service team” your information is being sold and used for fraud. They are asking for information from already verified accounts. Close your account and report this to your local police department.

Used for years with no issue until recently Every single time I deposit now it waits until it has my money then blocks me from placing bets or making withdrawal and so I have to contact customer services every single time This is where it gets really bad as the only option is to use the online chat and they just ignore your issues or refuse to answer simple questions or help then they end the chat so have to start whole process over again Avoid these now as whatever changes they have applied is ALL negative

1st time ever had to contact CS, last time and account closed,why? My account is verified years ago i had an old debit card on there owing to the local branch closure of the bank I moved accounts and forgot to delete the card,I only had a small win under 100 pounds well under and when I tried to withdraw it split the money to the old card and new one.The online chat does not allow bigger Font so it was impossible to follow the chat and the automated service was just doing the same thing over and oversent off an email instead and no reply, finally got the online chat to work 1st person put me over to another person.. went straight into details of all cards and ID. The account was verified years ago it was utterly useless and pointless. The site alone is clunky and so dated, its a total shambles will never use them again, for such a large company that website is an utter disgrace.So it appears William Hill has stopped other forms of contact apart from Live Chat or X. When I complained to 2nd opinion the reply was in a font under 10, and the person had clearly not read the email, It was “Contact live chat”. Every single CS contact now is just a complete shambles, They really cant hide the fact they do not care. Every time I send them a photo they come up with another random photo that they want.They are literally robbing me of my £25.I’ve quoted The Gambling Commission below to them, but they just ignore any line of questioning and send standard template replies just insisting on more photos…”A customer request to withdraw funds must not result in a requirement for additional information to be supplied as a condition of withdrawal, if the operator could have reasonably requested that information earlier.”I’ve also asked them what crime I am suspected of committing, and they ignore me, just repeatably asking for more photos.What sort of crime involves making £15 profit? rotten experience online dealing with the auto help chat agents just rudely end chats, made a complaint howevr i doubt it was logged, again for the third time while speaking to an agent as i was typing they just end the chat..complete joke of a customer service team, ive never really won on there vagus to tell the truth anyways much better experiences else where to be fair..

Used them for years and it’s only been the past couple years they’ve started randomly locking my account from promotions, and when asked about why they never give a decent answer. Never good communication and bad site to use. Only good thing to take from this site is that they don’t delay your withdrawals (if you get any). 1/10 wouldn’t recommend sick of them going to be closing my account soon.

Hills made an error which resulted in me being out of pocket. They admitted the error was theirs but flatly refused my request to refund my losses (only a few quid) as an acknowledgement of fault. I’ve been a loyal customer for 40 years but yet this company shows UTTER DISDAIN TOWARDS CUSTOMERS. They used to be good but theyve fallen a long, long way from grace now.

They promote safe gambling. A few years back I had a bit of a gambling problem and the site gave me loads of free spins etc etc. in the last year or so I have a small bet here and there on like big occasions and I use the site for free spins etc in between. Now that I am spending loads less they have closed my account. 😆😆😆When the betting stops it stops. Deleted the app and will go elsewhere.

They offer a safer gambling service which is good. The problem I’ve experienced is by using the timeout facility they recently stopped me making any deposits. They’ve now put me on a small weekly limit. It’s a service designed for you to control your betting but if utilised it’s seen by them has a problem

I believe their bet builder is false advertising as they encorage people to place bets without making clear what the rules are. Even the shop staff are not aware what the correct rules are. Online customer services is poor, email not much better as know one gets back to you. If you catch them on the phone, again no one offers any useful help….go with paddy power….so much better and flexible

Absolute appalling customer service. Transferred 5 times, staff didn’t take notice to what I was saying. Made to send a photo of ID 4 times. Verification checks twice and the staff just kept transfering me to another person. Spent over an hour on the chat. Absolutely ridiculous
