Absolutely shocking! Followed a fb ad, created an account and deposited €10. No problem. Couldn’t find the offer, used their chat bot to enquire why and was told my account had been deactivated with no explanation. Spent over 2 hours, being passed to at least 6 people, submitted countless photos with ID – which in spite of a premium phone camera – were not ‘clear’ enough, only to be told another department would email me. They did, and asked me to do everything again as if I had contacted no-one before. So in my opinion, from falsely advertising an offer to now refusing to re-open my account or refund my money, I smell a rotten scam.

Worst experience ever with any betting site and I’ve used most major ones in uk and Ireland they asked me for a picture of me holding my passport and holding a bank statement and holding a piece of paper with my username on it and then rejected it as not valid to verify my identity it’s the most ridiculous process I’ve ever came across most apps will accept a simple picture of id and proof of address not these absolute scammers! This site has went the same way as all the rest, they’re just money hungry robbers! I used to champion this site for being the only one that had fair play, not anymore. 30 games of slingo and not a single, even bare minimum win, thats appalling by anybodies standards. Haven’t won on their bingo in 2 years, always the same names winning though eh?? I can easily rip through £100 in less than an hour and the slots have played terrible for the last 8 months, if you are lucky enough to get a scatter/bonus round rest assured they’ll only allow you to scrape the minimum win. Just spent my last tenner on their site and not a single penny back on the lowest stake available, thats a lot of empty spins! Kept telling me over and over that my driving license wasn’t a valid form of ID and to send additional ID (I don’t have any). They finally (after three days of them telling me over and over that I needed to send another form of photo ID) they finally gave me access to my account again. Massive faff, not worth it.

I bet a few pounds here and there. I win and then use the few pound win to do another. I accrued £18.50 in my balance. They won’t give me my winnings. William Hill has blocked my account and want a million ID documents and photos of a whole host of things which I can’t supply. I could get a mortgage easier than getting help with my account. There is no customer service email or tel number. They have auto bot chats which put you in a loop and cannot get anywhere. Asked someone to phone me and they won’t. I was winning all but one game on a live bet and 20+ minutes before the final game was to finish, the cash out vanished. The customer service team delayed and fed me utter bull s**t that it can vanish! It cost me a pay out option and the painful customer service team kept on passing over to a colleague which I only saw as trying to test my patients in persisting with my issue and complaint! On Saturday 22nd June I placed a £20ew Double on Jewel of London at 40/1 andHaatem at 4/1.Jewel of London’s sp was 80/1 and Haatem won at 4/1However, William Hills refused to honour their Best odds guarantee which is disgusting as I backed Maw Lam at 33/1(returned at 40/1)4 days earlier and they paid me at 40/1.It would appear they pick and choose when to honour their guarantees.My best advice is avoid them like the plague.

William Hill closed my account because I had self excluded from Mr Green over 10 years ago. I still have monies in my account which need to be repaid, plus several ante post bets on the Euros. As other reviews on here. I was asked to send in all my verification documents only to be told my account is now closed with no explanation given by their security ‘team’. All they did was send me a link to their terms and none apply to my account closure.So now they have very clear copies of my Driving License, Passport and Bank details, plus £30 that is left in the william hill account.Online chat was useless, as you could tell they just copy and paste off a script.Seems to me they just want those that gamble loads and lose loads.
