I have left a couple of five star positive reviews in the past and have enjoyed betting with William Hill but things have gone downhill rapidly recently.The bonus drop used to win every time and you maybe win 50p or a pound, fair enough it’s free money which obviously you bet on the site but now you always lose, I mean every single time.Scratch of the day used to be good, bet £5 and get a free £5 or £2 bet was a typical example,now it’s bet £5 and get a free £1 bet on a four way accumulator, waste of time really.The odds have reduced greatly too, I’m not a big gambler but like a bet on my favourite sports and cannot understand why now,in a two way match, with no possibility of a draw ( darts,snooker, table tennis etc) both players are odds on before it starts,it didn’t seem to be like that previously.Surely there must be favourite and an underdog with accordingly favourable odds, isn’t that the whole concept of betting, ie give us a chance to win more than we put on ?I didn’t realise William Hill have just been fined £19 million pounds and maybe that is the reason they now seem to be penny pinching and spoiling the betting experience.Time to look elsewhere to win or lose a couple of quid but at least feel it’s fair in doing so.

Had a really awful time setting up with them, the company offers free bets which were not awarded and customer service is so poor, I put in to start up and won’t be spending a penny more with them. Customer service needs to improve massively.

Just deposited £10 into my sports account and nothing has been put into my account even though the money has gone from my bank. When you finally get on live chat the advisors never know what you’re talking about they’re useless to say the least. I got on live chat to 6 different advisors and every single one of them blanked me. If you choose to sign up to William hill it’s your own Fault something will 100% go wrong especially now they have been fined 19million

Ive been into local Alfreton (Derbyshire) shop this morning,One of my mates goes in there everyday till yesterday…THEY HAVE BANNED HIM FROM USING BETTING TERMINAL because mick has followed the pmu market in france for the last year after i explained to them how to beat the odds,The manager informed mick that he was on his list of punters who could not use the betting terminal,Bear in mind mick will put £100 on the slots each time hes in that hills shop,Mick not being very happy, Informed them thats discrimination…Unfortunatley Micheal thats what im treated like in every betting shop in nottinghamshire and derbyshire

£19 million fine ( small change to them), by the gambling commission , who were never going to suspend their licence, due to the government takings , especially from the fobts.William Hill will be laughing right now, at the commission board ,for being spineless, pathetic, while secretly they will be finding ways to continue to fleece customers.The bottom line is companies like Hills, Ladbrokes, coral etc don’t care about us.Fobts are a lifeline to both them and the government (and as for that stupid green/ red bar on roulette, is a gamble before a gamble, which defies belief !! ) but unfortunately the only way is to make them pay for the misery they cause is to withdraw your custom. I have self excluded from William Hill, but will in the next few weeks ( without placing a bet ), will enter a few off their premises, and see if I’m challenged.

Just been fined world record 19.2 million by the Gaming Commission.When l had a gaming licence, the customers never paid their customs & excise duty.I was taken to court, and won.Also fought customs & excise, and won.But the gaming board at the time, revoked my gaming licence.But, bookies like William hill breaking all the rules, as long as they can pay millions in fines, then still keep their licence.How can they be fit to run a business, when they clearly don’t care about their customers, health & mental health.People have killed themselves losing so much money on William hill websites.Did they ever bother ringing people up, and asking can you afford this?Answer is probably NO.The way the gaming commission has fined them, but allowed them to continue in business.Is like letting drug dealers continue selling, as long as they pay fines.They closed my account, without any warning, and whatever was in the account, just kept it.When has the gaming board, ever revoked a big bookies licence.Probably never, and they would never revoke a big bookie license, as they’ve the means to pay millions in FINES!

I won £200 in free bonuses on free or 4 and recieved just £100 in free bets. They told me that the £1 million prize pool was hit and that customers winnings would be split due to terms and conditions. Now knowing that over a million or close to a million people plays this free game. And due to the volume of winners should the prize pool not be far more than £1 million. This is False a advertising promotion and still running it should be advertised free or 4 to win £100 in free bets and not £200 as they cannot pay out this £200 due volume of winners due to terms and conditions.

I played for couple years on slots on william hill and was ok but the lmore then half year now seems to be impossible to catch any scaters , freespins . Every spin no win . Made a deposit limit and even if don’t reach it cant deposit anymore as they have made me a deposit restriction. Often games are freezing and slow . Was my favourite site but now disappointing . I had £100 free bets four £25 bets I used two then came back in abit later to see the other two have been used somehow so I go on live chat to ask about it and see if I should change my password and get my bets back then the person on live chat his name was Marki was so rude and was saying things I’d ask questions or ask to explain and they’d just keep putting the same thing then ended the conversation without getting it resolved so now I’m just waiting while they’ve suspended my account haven’t got my bets back either so now have to wait 2-3 days to see what will happen.. great company lol it’s actually a joke.

I have placed a bet on Harry Kane to break the England goal scoring recored. It’s now 48 hours since this happened and I am still waiting for my winning. Deposited £500 3 weeks agointo my online account. Lost most of it then had a £700 and a £100 win at Cheltenham. Tried withdrawing these funds into two bank accounts I had deposited from. Received an email asking for documentation to verify. It is now 9 days since I tried withdrawing. Can’t speak to anyone, only virtual chat. Eventually getting no where, put through to someone via chat. Sent bank card details, council tax statement and driving licence photo’s several times. Keep saying unsuccessful, try again. Honestly. This is causing me so many issues. I place bet in shop and they ask for my POI. I sent this in 2021. I am still on the “refusal of service” list to this day until this is resolved. I have sent again and now they require my bank statements. They are withholding my 3 shop bet payments from Cheltenham. They don’t understand how this is affecting peoples customers health. Not through the betting itself but through the whole procedure you have to go through and contact things having to be sent. It’s an excuse not to pay. Please whatever you do if using the terminals. Do not cashout voucher. Use the winning payslip on terminals to get your winnings from other shops.

I joined the site via a Facebook promotion (£20 free play) and used that and played the free play fine. As soon as I put £30 of my own money into my account all of a sudden I’ve been locked out. Contacted customer service who said due to a security review they’ve closed my account and decision is final and that my £30 will not be refunded. So basically I got scammed out of my money for no reason and I can’t do anything about it. Will be reporting to gambling commission for this foul play when I was literally a new customer and I can’t do anything now to get my money back.

This is actually the worst experience I have ever had with a company. William hill had an error with there deposits and there system actually deposited £40 instead of £10 that I had set out to for Cheltenham racing. Not only could I not enjoy the racing by dabbling on the horse racing with my £10 they still hold my money 4 days later. Their contacting system is terrible. Live chat only for online accounts. The first person you get transferred to can’t actually authorise anything so you get transferred to a ‘supervisor’ which they don’t come through to the live chat. I just want my money back and I will never use William Hill again.

William hill is trying to scam me.. They are saying my account is under review and the security team is doing checks immediately and they will contact me once done.. It’s already one week and when I contact their livechat, everytime i’m being told to wait for their email once checks are completed… One week has gone by and they are still kicking me like a ball saying to wait for the concerned team.. I have read their reviews on trustpilot and I can see many people are having these same issues.. They are trying to scam people.. I have money with them and they are refusing to pay saying that no transaction can be done on my account when it’s on review.. I have been a custome for over 8 years.. I do not recommend anyone to open an account with them as they will scam you at certain point during your business with them.. I will go to the ombudsman and will file a case in court if need to.. Beware guys..

Been a William hill customer many year always been good for prices and occasional bonuses but today they removed all my bonus off me and put a restriction on my account not to stop me from betting but to stop me from taking part in any promotions I bet responsible and don’t wager as much as I use to so they have decided because I’m not wagering as much they have restricted me from any promotions which I was taking part in because there not making enough money out me so I believe William hill are not bothered about responsible gaming like I do they want individuals to be addicted and waste all there money on betting SHAME ON YOU WILLIAM HILL

I’m at a loss as to how many people have had a bad experience with william Hill. I’m not disputing anyones account as what most have experienced on WH I’ve experienced elsewhere! As far as WH goes for me personally ive been with them 5yrs + , I deposit every other week and only play 10p/20p spins maybe 40p if I’m feeling flush lol. I’ve had some great returns having withdrew £160 last week and only deposited a tenner , although over the years I’ve withdrew a lotttttt more! I just hope I don’t eat my words after writing this review tho lol. But I genuinely have only ever had a positive experience on this site so far.

I joined William hill on the 07/03/2023 deposited £170 no documents needed to join played on into the night up my bet to £5 a spin won £6550 on bonus game (big bass splash) withdraw my winnings to wake up the next morning asking for id and that my withdrawal as been put on hold all id sent and accepted withdrawal still on hold to this day just keep saying my account is under review states on there web page account verification upto 24hrs absolutely ridiculous I will never deposit with them again and I will get my money owed even if I have to take it to court what a joke of a company I understand they have to do checks but this is outrageous!!

Awful – opened an account on 15/03/23 with £10 just to have a bit of fun on Cheltenham – website was awful for a rookie gambler – managed to get one bet on for total £2, tried to place other bets and it kept saying I needed to contact their customer services (it doesn’t exist) – to cut a horribly long story short – they have (via robotic chat and then their “supervisor” called Ang), they have closed my account and kept the remaining £8.00 and I have been told their decision is full and final and “great chatting with you, have a great one” – well I would like to have a “great one” and poke it up somewhere.
