Honestly the worst betting shop ever! Please take my advice and don’t do them ‘question’ football betting slips in store.. picked 1 up yesterday, over 1 goal, 1 card & 5 corners in all Saturday’s 3pm EPL games.. all 3pm games have over 1 goal, 1 card and 5 corners but William Hill said it was a losing bet even though after checking stats from each game it’s correct. William Hill staff in store didn’t give a toss and just said make a complaint online even though it’s an in store slip not online lol. Honestly I’ve never known a better shop so bad to not pay out on their football slips!

First of all this company is the worst company I’ve used in my life and when you lose a bet they take your money instantly then when you win sometimes you wait days to get the money on your account and by that time you miss all your bets that’s ridiculous so do not trust this company

Logged into account after two years. Statement showed a total £87.04 of inactivity charges. Customer services, spoke to Gvidotos who calculated all the charges taken for inactivity and refunded them instantly into my account. I would like to thank personally William Hill and especially Gvidotos for their gesture of good will. With Christmas around the corner this will definitely help. Thank you so much for the refund very much appreciated.

Forced into giving this mob one star. My gripe is with customer services. They have not got a clue what they are talking about. I tell them how their rules work. I told their lady im taping my call for my protection purpose and small claims court action and she says do what i want 😁😁😁, filed claim today for 2800 pounds, thanks lady.
They havent got a clue what they are doing, legal papers on the way .

I'm a net loser on this site. This will be important later on.

I only bet on sports, never on casinos. I've been restricted since day one. No bonuses, no freebies, nothing, ever. My bet size was also limited, even £5 was too much on some markets. I was never given any reason why. When I asked them on chat, I was simply told something along the lines of "We make sure the level of restriction is always being monitored and reassessed." It's also worth pointing out that this is the ONLY bookmarker that has ever done anything like this to me. I have NEVER been restricted anywhere else. Even the worst experiences I've had elsewhere are like happy fairy tales compared to how William Hill has treated me. Oh, but it doesn't stop here. Oh no. Fast forward month or so and now my limit is £0.00, I'm effectively banned. I sent them an email asking, what's up, but they have not replied. It's been a week or so, so either I'm being ignored, or their response times are pathetic. Either way, it's unforgivable for any company that supposedly prides themselves in the quality of their service. They did settle my open bets, payout my winnings and let me withdraw my funds quickly without problems, but that's the absolute minimum standard for any betting bookmarker, and they're not getting any sympathy stars for that.

Now, if this is how they treat losers, imagine how they treat winners. Like, just imagine if a company of any other nature served their customers like this. Would you go to a restaurant that treated you like crap? How about a super market? Don't think anyone would.

William Hill operates a casino with scratch cards and slot machines designed to take as much money away from gamblers as possible yet the moment someone looks like he just might take few hundred pounds away from them they kick them to curb because "ThEy NeEd To MaKe PrOfIt". I guess that what they mean by "When the fun stops, stop." They want to stop serving you the moment it's not fun for them anymore. They truly are scoundrels of highest order. If greed was a crime these people would be serving a life sentence behind bars.

Got to be the worst site I have ever played on.
£10 on penny bingo constantly 1tg every game and same name winners constantly.
£15 on 20p spins gone in seconds the amount of dead spins are redicoulous.
No sign of a bonus and a total return of £3.20.
I dont mind losing but I do like a bit of gameplay for my money.

I had £100 in account and £900 pending withdrawal to my bank, it was my 5 year old sons birthday. They told me on live chat that I could withdraw the £100 in a William hill shop if I took ID and got a williamhill card with the shops help. I drove to shop, my wife and kids were waiting in the car. The nice lady in the shop opened my card, I went to withdraw and error came up on screen! whilst in the shop I contacted live chat who told me I needed to remove my current payment method, I asked them to do so on live chat and they told me they had. I went back to the counter and tried again. Error came up again. I contacted live chat again who told me that because I had a pending withdrawal I could not withdraw in the shop! They told me I must reverse the withdrawal but could then take it out in the shop. I followed the advice and went back to the counter. Error came up again, I was absolutely perplexed at what was happening and contacted live chat again. All this whilst my family were waiting in the car as it should have took 5 minutes. Live chat informed me that I must now make a deposit with my new card and could only withdraw back a percentage after I sent ID via email and could take 3 working days to verify. This is to my already fully verified online account.I was so angry at losing around an hour of my time, the lady in the shop actually couldn’t apologise enough and explained that the online agents are actually nothing to do with William hill and work for multiple companies at a time. She said the online William hill are a disgrace. So in essence they made me reverse my withdrawal by lying to me 3 times and then I could not re withdraw it as red flags had popped up on my account. This was because I tried to withdraw £900!!!. I was so peed off and read some terrible review online that I played the £1000 with ridiculous stakes like £50 a spin and it was gone in 20 mins. In my head I wasn’t getting the money anyway. I complained about the whole thing and they suspended my account pending investigation. I waited weeks in between replies. I had mentioned to them in a comment that I had served in the Royal Navy and was treated for PTSD for a bit and it wasn’t as bad as the way they were making me feel. They then sent me the same questionnaire on 3 occasions asking about my mental stability etc. My reply each time being; I’m fine, I run a successful small family business with my wife and gamble only small amounts for fun when I can spare it. My children are good achievers at school and I live a respectable existence. I received CBT therapy for a few years the last session being over 18 years ago and have had no relapse since. My comment was designed to let you know how irrelevant you were making me feel. I was then told after a month of suspension that they made a business decision to close my account for life and did not have to give me a reason! I contested this and was told they believe I am at risk of suicide because of my PTSD and they were being responsible. I was absolutely flabbergasted. What they done is closed my account and made assumptions and disgraceful remarks about mental health without any investigation or medical evidence, they discriminated against disability on a disgusting level. Doing this made it easier to fib me off and not deal with the complaint. The complaint was not about losing the money, it was in regard to the weasel devious lies they told to make me reverse my withdrawal. I’ve reported them to gambling commissions and disability uk and I am taking legal action against them in coming weeks. This company treat customers like dirt on the bottom of there shoe and care not one bit about your wellbeing or the way they treat you. Avoid these heartless pigs like the plague

I’ve been playing William Hill for a while, you can literally spend 100s and walk away without seeing a bonus feature or any sort of win above £2/3s. Now there is the odd time you get lucky and I really mean odd time. I’m not new to online slots and this is by far the worst slot site I’ve played in terms of winning. If you value both your sanity and your money, stay well away from WilliamHill. I’ve been a customer for over a year and suddenly they demanded I send them verification documents in order to make a withdrawal. I complied with this request, but like many others to have left reviews on here, was then met with numerous nonsensical emails requesting further documentation, such as proof of my ownership of an E-wallet account, which I’ve never had, let alone linked to my WH account. Clearly a deliberate and cynical ploy. How on earth they maintain a consumer base I have no idea. Here’s hoping the regulatory bodies are reformed and put to work reining these corrupt businesses in!

I finally win a parlay and there is no winnings in my account and there is no history of my bet.I call them they tell me unless I have proof there is nothing I can do. Proof? I'm on your website! So Im cancelling account but I can't withdraw from website keeps saying error, I call them again they tell me I have to call a separate company who handles their transactions. Funny how no problems when depositing. I call the transaction company got disconnected 2x, recording told me having difficulties right now try again later, I try again later same thing happens. As of right now I still can't withdraw my money.

Bets taken out of my account randomly for no reason. Contacted customer service and fortunately they acknowledged and saw my missing bets and told me they would appear in my account that day or for sure by tomorrow. Tomorrow came and still my bets are not there. I contact same manager and she isn't available, I'm told she will call me back the next day. No response. Days later I'm still calling and finally get a hold of the manager after waiting 20 minutes on hold. She gives me a ton of attitude when I tell her my bets are still not showing and insisted that they were there and to just take her word for it. I told her that I need records of my bets and I can't just take her word. She said there was nothing else she could do….I asked her if she could email me the record of my bets that were taken out and not showing. She said yes she could that with more attitude and put me on hold for 5 min without any warning. As someone who works in customer service, this was handled very poorly and unprofessionally, and I will not be using William Hill anymore in the future!

I ended up with around 10 betting/casino sites. I said f ##k it, i'm closing most of them down, as i ended up confused wondering which one to deposit to.

I went to william hill and checked my life time deposits, just like i did with all of them, and i was 1k in without withdrawal. I told them i am closing most of my accounts and i recently increased my deposit limit with them… i asked was it possible to get a bonus to see what they would say. I was told they don't do them, only promotions, but i ended up getting a 100% bonus on my last deposit of 58 pound as i never usually use bonus offers and like to stake cash only. Unless it is free spins with no wager. However, i accepted this offer for a little gamble, as i had already lost my cash deposit… so nothing to lose with the wagering.

The wagering requirements on deposits vary too much. That's the only down side to them from what i can see.

The chat team took a long time to respond, but when they did they were very polite, made me feel appreciated . They valued my custom and give a bonus as a good will gesture, as i didn't opt in to one before. This is why i choose to stay with William hill and one other site now; rather than have 10 accounts and not knowing who to use.

William hill have by far the best Live Casino variety. The amount of tables, games and fun to be had is endless. I placed a bet on 5.10 market ramen today (28/09/19) I picked 1st and 2nd had them both each way and a reverse forecast stimulating song and on the wild side, I placed the bet just after the off on a 2 1/2 mile race I got went to collect my winnings only to be told I was to late placing my bet. Now as I am well aware they are not allowed to take the bet after 4 furlongs of the race starting however they accepted the bet but when I won they refused to pay me my winnings and only offered me my original stake back. Had a bet on cricket (top batsman) because the game was rained off after 13 overseas I didn't get paid out for getting top batsman correct. It was a 20/20 game. This has happened to me in the past with only 9 overs being bowled so I was refunded my stake. At the time I was told that you have to have had a minim of 10 overs bowled to constitute an innings. Now that has happened this time William hill won't pay out and just refunded stake. Won't be going back to William hill after years of betting in there. Hello bet Fred
