I have been a loyal customer of this Company for many years, but suddenly the approach by William Hill towards its customers has become both cynical and dismissive in the extreme. I have raised legitimate and serious ethical concerns with the Company regarding their dubious Business Model, which have been repeatedly flatly ignored and remain unheeded. I believe it to be only a matter of time before WH’s Practices are brought to the adverse attention of The Gambling Commission, in the UK. The one star rating is a misnomer, as a zero rating for this unworthy Company was not an option….

Terrible app. Ive been trying for 30 minutes to put a teaser and 6 teamer. Keeps asking me to accept change when this is no change. Been waiting week to bet these games and wont take ny bet. I was only able to put a 3 teamer in, but nothing else. This app everytime i use i have problems. It will add bets back on after removing them or not add bets on a parlay and automatically remove them. Just terrible.

One week on from raising an issue, zero contact. It’s not even anything complicated. Just gave up waiting on the chat facility to become available. I’ve asked for the formal complaints procedure but they won’t give it. Join this lot only if you want the worst possible customer service. I’m reaching out to the regulator in hopes of getting things moving. SLSCS-7085 if anyone there cares to assist. Please don’t tell me to get in touch again. That doesn’t help. I’d leave no stars if I could. There customer service is non existent unless you are depositing on a constant basis they don’t want to know you. Proof that they rig their games aswell as I stopped depositing over the football break I noticed the promotions stopped aswell. When I was depositing on a regular basis I was winning on their daily bonus every time but once I stopped depositing I lost everyday then to be excluded from bonuses due to my account receiving a THOROUGH REVIEW (me not depositing over the football break). Tight as hell, the daily ‘bonus plop’ is a game where you can lose daily – every day! It’s just pathetically poor for customers as this company has zero loyalty, I stupidly bet with these for weeks losing cash with no bonus return for the pain just false promos that don’t exist or that lose every day to add to the woe to make you chase losing bets, all their promotions are next to nothing but they’re happy to take your cash and continue to advertise THE BONUS PLOP. All the negative comments!!. It’s gambling. 98%of the time they win. I lose most of the time. But 2 weeks ago I withdrew 200 from a 30 deposit. Yesterday I took 400 from a 20. On slots. I’ve been with William Hills for 35 years including their betting shops. The online help is dreadful. I’ve had no replies to the 4 times I’ve contacted them about their product App not working on my apple 15 plus on the Apple Application site. I’ve even asked to make a complaint and they’ve ignored that as well.Since the World internet outage I’ve now lost over £100 in unpaid, cancelled bets or money gone from my account in the past two months including No cash back when I opted in to get 10% back on all roulette losses.i got nothing back & spent over 2 hours online help and got cut of on a few occasions. I even thought id inform William hill of this 404 Error code on all the 3 apps, sports, vegas & Poker when I try to login it comes up with a “404 error CloudFare error blocked”I was told just use your laptop!! I can’t use my laptop to place bets when I’m at work & they must be losing millions from customers who don’t have laptops anywhere near when they are working. So all the Apple phones using the Apple William hill apps don’t work. My account login name is TheSharkTankNot even a token of appreciation of the hours spent trying to get in touch with the right team to warn them of their software. I’m a computer scientist & kept getting told as they could not be bothered to try again or re-install the software again!! I tried everything I could before trying to get past the bots to fix my problem. How many others get this error & how many can’t access their accounts on their iPhone. They can try reaching out to me via here on trust pilot as I’m not willing to spend anymore more hours which total 8 between outage problems & money missing or not paid back to me. £100 does not seem a lot but it adds up over time. I’ve not had one reply from complaints!! Should be a minus star available TP. Game didn’t pay out. Investigation started apparently. Just got asked to wait for 10 mins for update on chat with Queenie. Got cut off after 30 mins. Went through security again with Keil, waited another 10 mins to be told no update available. The authorities take this behaviour very seriously so please complain to them. Massive fines are handed down so it’s worth it. I’ll definitely be doing so. Like others say, there is no customer services at WH. Disgraceful organisation. Chat is an utter joke. I’m not convinced it’s even real people. AVOID, there’s so much choice.

In general I am anti-gambling / anti-betting. I don’t like to see betting shops as they lower the tone of the neighbourhood in my eyes and are a visible indication to me that the areas in which they are situated have some social deprivation. I feel sorry for the people who regularly frequent these places and also their families and loved ones who often bear the brunt and pain of gambling addiction.A few weeks ago I found myself in one of these places which was William Hill in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire. It was the first time that I had stepped foot inside a ‘bookies’ in 30 years and I didn’t like it. It felt wrong to be in there and I felt like a fish out of water, but I felt compelled to place a bet because if I hadn’t, and my really strong instinctive feeling paid off, I would have been kicking myself later. I didn’t know what to do in there, I hadn’t got a clue but I was helped out by a really lovely, very friendly and most helpful dark-red haired young lady working in there. I placed my bet that Jeremey Corbyn would be re-elected as a member of parliament for the Islington North parliamentary constituency, despite the fact that he had been previously demonised by the British right-wing gutter press, the ‘Establishment’ and even by some in his very own Labour Party. I had ‘insider information’ ….. As I knew that Jeremy was an absolutely honest, decent and uncorruptible ‘man of the people’ and that he had been an amazing and much loved MP for the people of Islington North for decades and they would not abandon him as his former Labour Party had done.I betted £200, at even odds, that Jeremy would be the chosen one by his constituents. He ‘stormed it’ with a massive majority as I felt sure he would. Well done Jeremy!!!!! In hindsight I wished that I had had the courage to bet more, but it was a ‘gamble’ after all and I would have been kicking myself if I had gambled away a larger amount.Two days later I went back to William Hill in Ollerton, to collect my £400 winnings but this time was ‘served’ by a young blond woman who couldn’t have been more different from the first one. It seemed like an effort for her to avert her eyes from her phone screen to look up at me as I stood at the counter. I said that I had been in a couple of days before to place a bet and that I had now returned to collect my winnings. She seemed quite annoyed that I had actually spoken to her and also of my ignorance of the betting etiquette in this shop – apparently I should not have spoken and just plonked my betting receipt down upon the counter “just like everyone else does”. I would best describe her behaviour as extremely surly and that’s being kind to her. She was so different to the lovely young lady working in there just two days before. Would I use William Hill again? Perhaps, but if I ever go back to this one I will stick my head inside the door first to see who is working in there on the day!Oh, I just remembered this – the surly one paid me out with £400 in new Scottish Banknotes which was a bit of a surprise as I had assumed that the bank card that I used to place my bet would also be used to credit my account. I didn’t mind though as they were all genuine banknotes and spendable and I liked the look on the young lady’s as she counted them all out and handed them to me.That part was a very good and most enjoyable experience xx

I do £2.47 goliath bets, and on multiple occasions there is no cash out during the second half. On one particular bet I had all 8 winning but no cashout offered. Eventually 4 won, minimal return. Terrible service. If you can’t run it, you shouldn’t offer it. I will be taking my business elsewhere as I feel I am being robbed. Astonishingly rigged.. Messaged them on live chat to ask if they do a birthday bonus because I have heard of other people getting them and they said no and only the bonuses on my promotions page are what’s available, so I said they all involve me spending money and your payout is terrible so no thank you and ever since then I’ve not had a single win off the daily free game the counter always lands on the big X so they’ve obviously applied a block to my wins.
